These rocket attacks began even before Israel pulled every 'settler' and troop out of Gaza and continued on after the 'disengagement' against Sderot and the surrounding towns. What, Israel shouldnt defend themselves? Look just last week, undeniable pictures of missile crews launching missiles at Israel from a school courtyard. Was the courtyard bombed? No. Once they left though, kaboom. Gaza is very densly populated and the missiles Israel shoots are bound to have some collateral damage (which is sad), that isnt a war crime and the only ones who should be blamed are the missile crews who bring Israel's might to the avg. Gazans door. And, in relation to the checkpoints, just rememebr...before the intifada, there were many fewer checkpoints. All these security measures were installed AFTER all the bombers started killing innocent people in markets and schools. Personally, these are all great ideas to protect a populace from an implacable foe who doesnt value life at all. I think it's a "good idea" Israeli's don't want to die. If you dont want Palestinians to die, I would reign in Hamas and Islamic Jihad and the other various splinter groups and negotiate. No Taqqiya,no 10 year renawable nonsense treaties.
