Steve ,   US   (11.07.07)
Read your Bible John and stop babbling!
33. God's word is true!!!!
Danny Booker ,   Niveville, USA   (11.07.07)
I agree with the Rabbi. But just as it was in the days of Noah, no one listened then either, wake up people, God will not be mocked or His word return void. Israel will ALWAYS be His chosen people and the land is His promise to them!!! Woe to any nation that tries to divide it. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
34. USA should leave Israel alone, without the pressure
augustine e johnson ,   birmingham-usa   (11.07.07)
this American pressure on Israel is disgusting -- the usa should stop trying to shrink Israel and let israel decide its future == augustine e johnson - usa
35. to # 16 - Xians more loyal to Israel than PM
augustine e johnson ,   birmingham-usa   (11.07.07)
you may be right in this -- i guess the Evangelical Xians are more loyal to Israel than PM-- Evangelicals want a 3rd temple and a larger not a smaller Israel -- what Bush is doing is wrong pressuring Israel to give up the Bible lands ==== augustine e johnson - usa
36. Neta, why are you calling them right-wing
Harry Fallup   (11.07.07)
Why aren't you calling Olmert, Tsipi and the rest of the clowns "left-wingers"? Do you think the readers haven't noticed your "clever" selectiveness in naming?
37. God's curse on America
rlaj ,   longview, texas   (11.07.07)
God said to Abram, I will curse those who curse you and I will bless those that bless you. George Bush is ignorant of the Bible. Israel is the nation that God will redeem. No one will be allowed to give away Israel because God gave it to them. When you see Russia and Islamic nations come against Israel look up for you redemption draweth nigh.
38. The disintegration of America is well on its way
Guy   (11.07.07)
39. These rabbis are NUTS...they're hallucinating.
Mark Kerlen ,   Canada   (11.07.07)
Anybody who truly believes ""There is no doubt the New Orleans flood from the Katrina hurricane was God's punishment for evicting the settlements," is NUTS.
40. Israel
G.L. ,   Southern USA   (11.07.07)
ditto, to #13 I Know God will Rapture us believers before He pours out His wrath, everywhere, He will deliver the Jews !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
41. Better Listen
Janice ,   Windsor Canada   (11.07.07)
Finally people who tell the truth. We will yet see more of the ALMIGHTY'S hand very soon. Don't kid yourself, neither Bush nor Rice believe in G D, no matter what they say. All my prayers for your safety in the trouble to come.
42. Gaza pullout = Bahamas hurricane? - too funny
A Bethlehemite   (11.07.07)
How the heck did these Rabbis link the Bahamians into this? And what about every hurricane season? Got something else to link to them? These people offer no other solution but one state for all....
43. Israel and the USA
C.S. ,   Pilot Point, TX USA   (11.07.07)
The most foolish thing we (the U.S.) can do as a country is to force Israel into conflict with the creator God of the universe. We are doing that now, and have for some time. We are their best friend. We need to behave that way. Friends do not put a gun to their friend's head, and then force them to pull the trigger. God can do no wrong, and He will judge the world for its actions against Israel, the U.S included. The "peace" process is nothing more than forcing Israel into national suicide, and it is as wrong as wrong can be. I can only assume that our national leaders do not know God, or they would not choose this course.
44. Bush should heed the warnings
Christy ,   Boston, US   (11.07.07)
It's not just these rabbis who are warning Pres. Bush to stay away from supporting or proposing land give-away by Israel. Pres. Bush has been warned by US Evangelical Christians NOT to support or encourage any land give-away by Israel. These Christians are very upset at what they see may happen at Annapolis. I don't know about these rabbis. But, kooks or not their message should be listened to. (Even kooks can be right about some things.)
45. America Don't Mess with Israel
Ray ,   TX, USA   (11.07.07)
The Rabbis are correct. Watch all who doubt what will happen to America on its soil after the meeting in Annapolis. Some bad things will happen, because we as American's are bringing the curse down on ourselves for our own stupidities. Surely we will suffer here in the USA. Our foreign policy is in need of a major over haul.
46. #24 John
Ephraim ,   Diaspora   (11.07.07)
John, it is obvious that you don't read the Holy Scriptures. If you do, you don't pay much attention. I can imagine many in Egypt making similar remarks concerning the plagues from Elohim announced by Moses and Aaron. Either you don't believe in Elohim, don't believe in His Word, don't understand, don't study, don't care, or something which is very unfortunate for you. I am not saying that Katrina was punishment, nor am I saying that any other modern day natural disaster is actually direct punishment from Elohim, but I will emphatically say, that He has said He will punish severely those who divide Israel and I believe what He says. If you don't, you are the crazy one.
47. Warning lights are on...
Peter ,   Adelaide, Australia   (11.07.07)
Bravo! Its been spelled out in an open letter so none can deny the warning was given. The same message is written in the Bible (which he claims to believe), in which it talks of an unconditional and perpetual covenant on the land to the descendants of Isaac and Jacob (as opposed to Ishamel), and he would have a copy nearby at all times. Either he accepts advice from the book, or the State Dept. Your call Mr President.
48. #23 Steve
Canadian Otter   (11.07.07)
Hi Steve! I was quoting the Ynet reporter who wrote: "A fringe group of prominent ultranationalist rabbis". The sad thing is that those who reject Bush's plan are now called "fringe", and those who want to protect Jewish land are called "ultranationalists". The ordinary American, including Jews, thinks nothing about the idea of carving out a piece of land from an ancient nation such as Israel to give it to a bunch of individuals with the track record of the Arabs of the PA and Gaza. The obscene has become mainstream. Regarding the Christian churches, I'd rather not even discuss it. However, it's not easy to criticize non-Jews when we are witnessing such disappointing (to use a diplomatic term) behavior on the part of the Diaspora and many Israelis themselves. I read a few of these disparaging talkbacks. I'm not observant, but it saddens me to read such harsh words. They don't like what the rabbis said, but what are we ourselves doing about the problem? Jews have always been at the vanguard regarding justice and human rights for others. And if there ever was a clear-cut issue of justice and human rights, it's this one, the right of the Jewish people to live in peace on their land. Now the world has ganged up on Israel, starting out with the number one power on the planet, and we Jews are not doing enough to come to the defense of Israel. To tell you the truth, I feel as if I were watching a tragedy unfold in slow motion.
49. Sec. Rice
Jim ,   Miami   (11.07.07)
Sec Rice is frantically flying all over theArab States and Europe trying to hammer some peace deals yet she's the worse off. Why? Because of her meddling in Israel threatening them for a peace deal via land give aways and the dividing of of the Jews Capitol and Holy City Jerusalem. She thinks that she has the Israelis by the "cojones" but she's in for a rude awakening. For the longest of time I've been pleading and warning Bush about his strong arm tactics against the Jewish state...he has yet to read any of my emails.
50. Why YHWH does not punish the arabs directly?
Theodore ,   New Jersey, USA   (11.07.07)
Perhaps because both Jews and Arabs are the descendents of Abraham, and the LORD of creation is the Father of both. Like a Father he does not like discord in His house, but will let the two brothers go at each other. However, like a true Father HE will not tolerate a stranger interfering with family business. I guess the LORD is giving both one last chance before HE needs to intervene. And I sure don`t want to be around when the belt comes off. I write this as a non-trinitarian Christian, who found peace in just accepting the Shema.
51. By design...
Alex ,   Buffalo USA   (11.07.07)
The forces of evil know full well that these Rabbis are correct! The intentions of those harming Israel ARE to bring the rath of the Lord down upon USA! Only The Lord can destroy America, as he created her! The forces of evil KNOW how to bring the Lords rath upon America! GET IT!? Why is that so hard to understand?
52. israel was built on arabs lands
WAEL ,   kuwait / Palestine   (11.07.07)
its true until last week the country of israel is gettign bigger its the only country in the world that is getting bigger in size each and every day by taking more farms and lands and destroying olive trees that belongs to palestinians
53. Who's Bush
Obama ,   Washington DC   (11.07.07)

54. Rabbis Warn Bush over Annapolis Summit
Tom Lowe ,   Unincorporated USA   (11.07.07)
I take this waning as a direct terrorist threat against my nation. I also take it as an admission of responsibility that Mossad blew the levies in New Orleans with explosives, and that Mossad set the fires in California which are still being investigated as to cause. I also note a Jew was caught painting swastikas on her dorm room door at George Washington University in Washington DC--a typical zionist false flag event that just keeps happening over and over all over the world. The pattern of behaviour here is overwhelmingly unmistakeable: Israeli zionists are the world's foremost active terrorists and largest organized criminal organization. As such, Israel fully deserves to be destroyed. I certainly hope idiot Bush attacks Iran and gets Israel obliterated in the process. Such would be just after sixty years of constant world terror imposed upon the world by 'Israelis'.
55. bush is good to israel and olmert same as arafat
reuven ,   usa   (11.07.07)
all olmert wants to be in picture and prime minister of fools.god help us
56. Bush or Olmert
Asher Barkin ,   Cleveland, America   (11.07.07)
What a pity they have to beg Bush. George Bush has to protect his own country first. Its Ehud Olmert who has to protect his.
57. Why Rabbis?
Daniel ,   Israel   (11.07.07)
Of course giving away land is not acceptable under any circumstances; for the sake of wise man Churchill; we have already lost complete (now days) Jordon. Still if complete peace is achieved forever (which is unlikely) will be better for Israelites. (This summit too will fail as usual – although Olmert is trying very hard to write his name in history books.) Apart from all that; I do not know what Rabbis saw in peace? Whatever; if nothing of Rabbis predict happens within a year of successful summit; world will loose faith in Rabbinate. Do not claim any natural disaster and see your opportunity for your claims after 5 years.
58. 2#' excellent question
alun ,   london uk   (11.07.07)
the answer is since the US does not want to exterminate Israel G-d is giving the US a chance to redeem themselves whereas since the Arabs want to exterminate Israel G-d is not giving them a chance to redeem themselves to save themselves from annihalation. As for Israel G-d is testing Israel's leaders as to whether G-d is omnipotent and controls everything from the macroscopic to the microscopic or Whether Bush runs the world thus if Israel's leaders think that G-d runs the world then one can safely ignore the peace process and nothing negative will happen .If however Israel's leaders think that Bush runs the world they will go to the peace conferences and only negative events G-d forbid will ensue.
59. Many Right Wing Rabbis are Rabble Rousers to Assassination
Shimon Z. Klein ,   Bat Chefer, Israel   (11.07.07)
There is nothing more important to Israel and the Palestinians than peace with dignity and security. This means that both sides have to compromise to get there. Extreme right wing rabbis rabble rouse their supporters and Yigal Amir, the murderer of Yitzchak Rabin, was their creation and instrument. There is a feeling of deja vu as they were instrumental in putting an Arafat-style keffiya on the head of Shimon Peires. These rabbinical extremists are a danger to peace, democracy and are an impetus to another political assassination.
60. Asher #56: They're not begging; they are warning Bush!
