31. #7, usual show of ignorance
Danny   (12.03.07)
Rap is a "dissident" medium??? How you work that one out? By the lack of number one selling albums that are rap? By their lack of recognition in mainstream music shows? The way you can't hear it on the radio? What a load of absolute crap. The only thing this shows is that your ignorance is not limited to Israel/Arab conflict. As for integration, arabs are complaining about "rights". Well with rights come responsibilities. If they wish to be members of this state then they have to live by it's rules. This is no different from the UK. If a 14 year old child cannot be bothered to go to school he is a truant and loses some rights as such. The bill requiring national CIVILIAN service from arabs does exactly what you ask for, it gives them the same rights at the end of their service as IDF soldiers. Same benefits, same scholarships, same opportunities. Are you really so blinded by anti-Israeli hatred that you object to that?
32. #13, yeah and who is stopping DAM?
Danny   (12.03.07)
They have been rapping for years now. Not only are they NOT banned but they have had coverage in mainstream newspapers and TV - so much for "dissindent media". You can of course point to similar coverage of Irish republican music in the 70s? Or Islamist music in the 2000s? PS how do you manage to live in London and the "largest Jewish community outside of Israel" - newsflash it is NYC.... or can't you even get your place of residence right?
33. #28, Invicta and camps
Danny   (12.03.07)
What Invicta apparently doesn't know is that Israel is pretty much the ONLY place that Palestinians don't live in refugee camps, even the ones who were "internally displaced" ie still live in Israel but are more than 5 miles from their original homes. Compare and contrast with Palestinians in Jordan, West Bank - under Jordanian rule; Gaza - under Egypt; Syria and Lebanon. Israel is also the only place in the entire Middle East where Palestinians have the same voting rights as the majority and one of the few places they have any voting rights whatsoever - even when you consider Syrian presidential "elections", Palestinians cannot participate in this charade. Given your claims fly in the face of ANY facts there are two choices: a) You are determined to remain defiantly ignorant of a topic you claim upsets you so much, b) You do know what you are saying is false and are lying. Either way one has to wonder what your motivation is....
