Is anyone demonstrating against this? Are the squares full of people crying out in horror? Nope. No one is out there, because we all have become apathetic to this phenomenom. We have accepted it as "well, that's just the way it is." We have lost our sense of outrage at immorality and unethical behavior. We have more important things to do, like harping on Yitzchak Rabin's "legacy".

and to get the noble prize for peace even if this will be - and it surely will be - causing the destruction of Israel.

Perhaps Ehud Olmert is corrupt--I am in no position to judge that--but I think one can safely say that Mr. Olmert is a personification of the Peter Principle. This principle suggests that a person is promoted in his workplace until he reaches his first level of incompetence. Alas, this seems to describe Mr. Olmert. See the landmark book, "The Peter Principle, or Why Things Go Wrong" by Lawrence Peter and Raymond Hull. It describes Olmert types clearly and succinctly.

The people were against Oslo. Oslo passed because Rabin bribed Goldfarb and drug-dealer Segev. No protests helped. The people were against the destruction of Gush Katif. Sharon sent the Yassam shock troops to mercilessly beat children. A 13 year old girl was held in prison for four months because she protested against the government. The people know that if you do not follow Olmert's line you lose your rights and liberty. The people know that protest does not help. The only hope is that in the next war Olmert will run off to join his draft-dodging children.

Israel's government is out of control. While so many of Israel's political and govt. leaders are widely thoughjt of as corrupt, there are many official investigations underway that never will amount to a hill of beans. What is so frightening to me , as a person who loves Israel, is the craziness of a population that doesn't understand how this corrupt and incompetent leadership is destroying our Jewish State. It's just not the corruption. Sderot has become uninhabitable because of Palestinian rocket fire. Yet the attorney general's office and the courts won't even allow Israel to turn off electricity to a people that hates Jews so much that they elect the monsters of Hamas to govern them. Our weasely government is so busy kissing the State Department's ass because Israel's government still thinks that Israel is in the Warsaw ghetto. Israel goes along with the Annapolis charade because it is scared of the world reaction if it doesn't and so many of Kadima see Annapolis as a way to hold on to power. Meanwhile the no-good psychos and traitors of Peace Now do nothing for Sderot but love to tell tales of more construction in the settlements.

Surely Finance Minister Abraham Hirchson must be awared the lowest of the lowest for stealing not only the tax payers money but also for stealing money that was donated in the name of the hollocaust, the only question is ,why is this man not in prison where he belongs. A light unto other nations, i think not.
