1. utter, contemptible morons
RobertK ,   Jerusalem   (11.22.07)
On a more serious note, the president added that "it would be more correct to hold the protests in Tehran, not in Israel." Compared to them President Peres is a realist. They don't know the difference between Iran and Israel, aggression and defense, black and white, or up and down. They've forfeited being adults who can make the most basic distinctions or take the slightest interest in the actual world that adults have to contend with. Their strip act shows that it's all a giggly game to them. It's embittering.
2. They aren't just brainless, they're shameless too!

6. Stupid People
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (11.22.07)
If this is how they wish to win over people for their cause, then they failed miserably with all those of us who are repelled by such outrageous, immature behavior. These were nothing but stupid children.
7. panties
theviper311 ,   Hymie Town   (11.22.07)
couldn't you show a more attractive protester?
8. What David Niven Would Say About This
meir elazar   (11.22.07)
Some thrity odd years ago David Niven was at the podium at the Academy Awards when a male "Streaker" (naked person running) crossed the stage. After a minute or so when everyone quieted down, Niven returned to the microphone and in a brilliant British accent said "IT IS AMAZING HOW SOME PEOPLE DISPLAY THEIR SHORTCOMINGS IN PUBLIC."
9. I haven't seen such boring strippers since Honduras
A ,   J   (11.22.07)
10. Not much of a disruption...
jewish mother ,   jerusalem   (11.22.07)
Unless they just stopped to use their air sickness bags... Absolutely stupid and useless way to "protest". I've been to some feminist conferences in my life and I never wanted to see these sour leftist manless "hemales" up close. Now, here is Y-net baring them in all their glory. Bring back half naked pics of Bar Rafaeli-all is forgiven.
11. Exploitation or hippos and slugs
Josh   (11.22.07)
..they should really return that poor thing back to the wild where it can mate with its own kind.
12. They may be...
CW   (11.22.07)
Shameless but it did get them on Ynet. Shows you what our media is all about.
13. Speak with your mounth not with your naked ass!
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (11.22.07)
14. Very successful kuntz!
JPS ,   Efrat   (11.22.07)
And for the non-yiddish speakers in Ynetland, a kuntz is a kind of caper or practical joke. The activists turned a yawner of a backpage story into a highly visible event. And they did it through peaceful non-violent means. Kol hakavod to Greenpeace and its activists. Far from being stupid, moronic or immature, the activists managed to grab headlines. And no, they didn't call on Israel to unilaterally give up nuclear activities (which includes research, electrical power, bombs, etc) - they called for a nuclear free middle east. I certainly would like to see that. And yes, Greenpeace should also protest outside every Iranian embassy in the world (but somehow I doubt the ayatollahs allow a Greenpeace branch in Iran).
15. leftist loonie-toons
tom ,   toronto, canada   (11.22.07)
greenpeace is great at these grandstanding stunts (but why didn't they go "all the way"?), while offering NO real answers to the energy problem (or the nuclear threat problem). nuclear power, used responsibly, offers an alternative to fossil fuels. and for israel, it would provide a solution to the politics of the oil sheikhs. the "nuclear-free middle east" slogan is really only aimed at disarming israel, since the iaea has already demonstrated its inability to supervise nuclear programmes, such as its failures in libya, egypt, syria, iraq, iran, and pakistan. the iaea is what's broken, and what needs fixing. the other option, preferred by greenpeace, is to turn off all the lights and stop all the cars, buses, and trucks, because neither "alternative energy" sources nor "conservation" can provide the quantity or reliability of energy that is needed. and this would mean going back to a pre-industrial civilization that could not even feed our population. but they do a great job of brightening up a dull conference, don't they?
16. #10 - "sour leftist 'manless' hemales"....
Other Jewish Mother ,   Ramat Gan   (11.22.07)
dismissing an entire diverse feminist movement speaks more about your narrow mindedness than it does about the conference participants. Further demonstrating your shallow nature, you ask for more Bar Rafaeli. I wouldn't pull off my clothes, down to my undies, but I respect nonviolent protests by people who care about important issues.
17. Shalom Yarok Arom
peter ,   amsterdam NL   (11.22.07)
Nothing better than a few naked protesters to stir up a conference and expose some hypocrisy. The lady in the picture should go on a diet though, like the Italians say 'nakesness only convinces when it's attractive' :-).
18. At least the male and female strippers got to air their diff
meir elazar   (11.22.07)
At least the male and female strippers got to air their differences
19. The woman in the picture would look good if a funnel was the
Rivkah   (11.22.07)
standard for a female figure. She should enlarge a printout of that picture and put it on the refrigerator as a reminder not to eat so much.
20. Are these people related to Piece Now?

Lior ,   London   (11.22.07)
One cannot help but wonder in the case of Peres, whether this wasn't a case of the emperor's new clothes...
24. If you want to make an impact. sans clothes....
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (11.22.07)
may I suggest the Pussycat Dolls' "Sway" on Youtube? At least some poor Muslim, accidentally seeing a female nude, will go to his death over something worthwhile. Maybe the girl in the photo is one of those virgins for which some asshats kill themselves: Fat, lumpy and Jewish! Wouldn't that just be the epitome of poetic justice????
25. OUCH!
Robert Goldman ,   cooper city Florida   (11.22.07)
Why is it that the people who want to strip in public are always people we don't want to see naked? Jeeeeeeeeeeesh get better looking strippers and maybe more attention will be paid to your cause!
26. Where is Israel importing these "wackos" from?
Jack ,   San Diego, USA   (11.22.07)
27. They are quite ridiculous!
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (11.22.07)
Just a bunch of fashionable artists. Their thought is as stripped of deepness as their bodies.(the woman, specially, lacks a lot of deepness in her body.Actualy ,she is quite fat!)
28. Is Larry David the guy...
Jim Milfort ,   Detroit, USA   (11.22.07)
walking behind her or sitting next to him ?
29. Dear Tom in Toronto
JPS ,   Efrat   (11.22.07)
Tom, for a guy who lives near a giant nuclear white elephant (Pickering), you should know better than to say "nuclear power, used responsibly, offers an alternative to fossil fuels." Nuclear power generation is full of threats to the public: design flaws, faulty construction, expensive infrastructure, and last but not least, that little problem that Ontario Hydro still can't figure out: what to do with all that highly radioactive waste. Israel would be better off using solar and tidal power, and figuring out how to reduce our gluttonous consumption. Greenpeace doesn't say turn off the fossil fuel power. They say to use it cleanly. You should come here and tell the bloated and gluttonous Israel Electric Corp that they should switch from coal to natural gas, or at least install scrubbers on their stacks. Come on over, I'll give you a tour!
30. #14 JPS you fail to see the point!
Elchonon ,   Chevron   (11.22.07)
I quote you the article: "The protestors said alternative views were not represented, such as the stance which doubts that there is a need for nuclear weapons in the area. " It is a political statement and demonstration plain and simple, what do a few loonie tree huggers know about nuclear needs ? And yet again you go on about alternate energy even in repy to #15 tom.. Yet the issue is politix clear and simple... yes we care for out health and planet.. but greenpeace is a political activist program with a radical agenda. How can echo terrorists justify their actions ? they cause more damage than anyone in the world all in the name of "nature" If these immature naive brats fail to see the need for nuclear israel that is fine.. but you JPS said it yourself "i doubt they would allow them to protest in iran" Right, because a nuclear iran would be any better?
