The Saudis of course who are trying to single handedly dictate the future of the region and everybody in the west and on the left loves for it they will come up with a plan everybody will love. That plan will be a deal Iran promises no nukes and concesions in return Israel disarms its neuclear program .. they call it creating a neuclear free Middle East allthough it just so happens Israel is the only country that would really be affected by this wonderfull Saudi plan. Nobody wants a neuclear Israel with suipport from possibly India Israels best friend outside the US and in this case its only friend because India itself is a neuclear power that the west wants disarmed. The US will be taking the attitude of we didnt suggest it but it will end the Iranian threat so we will back it if everybody else does. Maybe if Israel agrees the US will agree to sell Israel things the US will talk about keeping Israel under a neuclear umbrela ( in THEORY the US will fire nukes at anybody that fires nukes on Israel ) but we all know America will never get into a neuclear war for any country other than itself. Allready for years Egypt has been talking about a neuclear free Middle East and they started that because the Americans asked them to because its to politicly sensetive for the Americans to come up with the idea publicly. The rest of the world will love the idea and of course Iran will say its a wonderfull idea. Israel will be the only looser because not only will it be the only country thats forced to disarm but it would also end any leverage Israel does have on the US when it comes to millitary matters. In 1973 Israel was loosing the Yom Kippur War and was begging the US for fresh supplies to make up for early losses and the US kept saying no then they were reminded that Israel had the nukes iif it went under suddenly the weapoons were flowing in & after the war anual millitary aid began. They want to make sure that Israel has the tactical edge but once Israel looses that neuclear advantage if the arabs are going to pay cash for weapons they are currenlty being denied because the US wants to keep Israel on top then Israel interests will be neglected because it wants American weapons free the arabs want to pay for them if they are made avalible and money talks louder than alliances. There are also more arab states to keep sweet and who have money to spend, oil to keep at low prices and only 1 Israel and it has non of that so whose interests would be your prime concern?

The reason Israel is begging for peace is simple .. the country has been run by a bunch of idiots for decades and right now we have the worst of the lot. Mention the P word and Israel will come running but arabs say only on our terms. Israel you might have the land we want, you might have superior weapons to us and would allmost certainly defeat us in war but we want to run the show and Israel instead of looking after its own interests says anythings up for grabs if your offering peace. Every other country in the western world in Israels tactical position would say we do things on our terms we have the power and somethng you want so you do things our way or no way and the arabs would be forced into accepting it. Israel also has very few friends as nobody wants to upset the arabs to much in the fear they will put up oil prices. We could learn alot from the arabs they say they want something so they are willing to hold out indefaintly till they get what they want rather than compromise for somethiing but not all rather than nothing. Instead Israel with its idiot politicans and domienent left wing they will hold out for a few years say thats a red line we wont cross then the arabs dont budge on their position but say the word peace and so Israel says there will be no red lines for peace. Since 1967 Jerusalem was a red line never to be croossed WE WILL NEVER DIVIDE JERUSALEM then Barak like Olmert had a nobel prize flash in front of his eyes and he was willing to give up Jerusalem. Like Olmert he was willing to give up the Golan all in the name of peace. Its only a matter of time befoire the refugee red line is crossed because Israel is run by fools who are willing to sacrifice anything if they are promised peace. Israel needs to play more clever politcal tactics and stand up for itself the way the arabs do instead of saying we have the best tanks and the best planes to win the next war. Everybody forgets we have the worst politicians who will loose us every politcal war.

The worst enemies to Israel are the Israelis who take everything for granted and cannot realize the dangers. What counts for Israelis is money , money & money. They are not concerned by the security of their land , solving the socio-economical problems in their land , caring about one another, they should not count on anybody else except themselves. Israel is not what it used to be , is in a weaker position from all points of view and need to build back what it has lost : confidence in the state with a government which knows what it wants in the long run , strong enough politically and militarily to face the future.

Joe, you only take the part you want for your agrument and negate the rest as is written in the Torah. Israel, Jacob, and his descendants, all 12, just like Ishmaels 12, all were given land. The 12 tribes of Israel, ( except for Levi) had specific land granted to them by the promise of G-d and the promised land to Israel. Perhaps you remove what fancies you or, youir 'religious' training differs from the Torah. This is the crux of the matter. No Arab wants any Jew( Israelite) to have any land whether granted by G-d as written or not. The fact that prophecies foretold are now reality, thrills any Jew and makes an Arab resort to his personal version of historical fact. Would be nice if we half brothers could 'reason together' but, it seems your stance on rejecting our G-ds promise stops all logic to your newer 'religion' which doesn't foretell what's happening now. Israel for Israelites, all of Jacobs children. Don't feel badly, you still have a lot of oil and a belief that rebels against the state of Israel as given to them by our G-d.

Peace will come as soon as the planet is a caliphate. In the meantime, non islamic lands remain Dar el Harb. Alternative: if Islam is eradicated, there will be peace either.
