Enstein says that only the insane would be repeating the same mistakes. And Barak is right to know this.
32. the right wing
Steve Cohen ,   WashingtonDc, USA   (11.28.07)
I think you touched on something I feel is the underlying problem in the strive for peace--conservatives. As long as the hardline right wingers on both sides of the issue are able to maintain their current influence over Israeli/Palestinian policy and rhetoric, the peace process is doomed. Israel cannot accept the Palestinian extremists' demands just as Palestine will not be satisfied with what conservative Israeli's wish to give them (nothing, or even in many cases, less than nothing). The overzealous in this issue sweep the true needs and concerns of their people under the rug to pursue their unachievable goals. The result is that the people as a whole, on both sides, lose. The peace talks were over before they even started as far as I am concerned. Barak is a hipocrit and puppet who panders to the right side--sounds like alot of people I know in American politics as well.

Guy Ziv wrote a very thoughtful and articulate article. I enjoyed reading it.
34. NO SUCH thing as CONCESSIONS!
Liz Schraybitz ,   New York, USA   (11.28.07)
Israel cannot make concessions. If my car is taken, and the taker agrees to give most of it back, it's not a concession. It's justice.

Tomer ,   Herzeliyya   (11.28.07)
He cannot help being destructive - that is his inherent nature
