The best possible thing to do now is not to let his jet land on his return. Have our IAF escort the plane to Syrian borders and let him land there. Maybe they don't want him either, so Gaza International is still on the map, maybe there. Then he can really say, "The vast majority of Israel.....doesn't want me."

Okay; Olmert says a majority will support concessions. Most talkbackers say a majority won't. The question is: How will we know? Is Olmert planning either a referendum or a knesset election based on these concessions? I somehow doubt it.

The people there don't support Abbas and the IDF can't change that! Let's put the idea of a two state solution behind us and move on - it's an idea that is continually regurgitated and doesn't work for either the Israelis or the Palestinians. The UN should have been disbanded years ago and is simply the butt of jokes now. Russia did unmentionable things in Chechnya and when it was censured it said, "this is an internal matter" an and world closed its eyes to the massacres and horrors that were perpetuated there. There is no 'Arab' land, no 'occupation' and absolutely no requirement for another Arab state in Palestine. Jordan was an illegal creation of Churchill and his anti-semitic Foreign Office! Israel has no concessions to make. The Arabs have plenty. They need to give back all the land they have stollen, demolish all their thousands of illegal settlements and move themselves back to the Arab lands that they came from as illegal immigrants in the 1920's.

You give back what you stole from Romania, Poland and Germany, compensate the victim of Stalinism, compensate half of Europe for the suffering and misery imposed on them by the Soviets.
