1. Why were palis allowed into Israel?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (12.07.07)
Some day we will have a Jewish government and these groups will be banned and their leaders jailed. We will have to prove to them that this state is JEWISH by closing all mosques and religious schools in towns and villages that support these groups. This is the land of Israel and we are the only Jewish state. abu abb-ass should not be allowed to address anyone in Israel.
2. The traitors should be expelled to Gaza!
Nannette ,   London   (12.07.07)
Israel has so many enemies abroad right now, they don't need a 5th column in their midst. The ONLY solution is to expel all these traitors to Gaza, and let them live with their brethren.
3. Arabs taking advantage of the system!
Justin ,   Ann Arbor USA   (12.07.07)
Let us see these arabs have this type of freedom of speech anywhere else in the Muslim world. They are just taking advantage of the democratic system in israel, hoping that one day, they can turn it into a palestinian state and revert to living in a wasteland.
4. I thought Pals couldn't come to Israel
eduard ,   denver usa   (12.07.07)
I mean I know a lot of these murderers still come through but I didn't think they could hold political meetings. Welcome to the new Israel where it's better to be an Arab than a Jew!
5. The fifth column specks.
Eynav Benjamin ,   ny   (12.07.07)
6. Blind Israelis
Jon C.   (12.07.07)
I love Israel just as much as the next time, but you Israelis must realize that you can't be so selfish. There needs to be some sort of agreement reached w/ the PA and peaceful relations before it is too late you Israel starts get branded as an apartheid regime like SA. Even though this isn't the case and the comparison between the two is non-existent all it will take is some human rights pricks to get the ball rolling and Israel will be ostracized much like SA in the 90s.
7. Israeli Palestinians
Maurice ,   Montreal   (12.07.07)
So these Israeli Palestinians want TWO Palestinian states and not a Palestinian state side by side with a Jewish state. This is what I call hutzpa! They will NEVER get that. If they are not happy they can move to the future Palestinian state when it is created. End of story!
8. Then, don't recognize SaudiArabia as Muslim state also...
KMR ,   Middle East   (12.07.07)
9. No, it is Israeli arab leadership that have pushed them
Danny   (12.07.07)
to the edges. Israel has tried to offer routes to integrate the Israeli arabs further such as doing civilian national service and thus getting same rights as Israeli Jews who serve but their leadership came out against it.
10. And therefore...
Micha   (12.08.07)
Israeli arabs will be moved to the new arab state (2nd palestinian state after Jordan) and Israel can feel safe in its Jewish stateness. there are how many arab/moslem nations in the world? something like 20-40? Yea, that's about right. So, the Jews aren't allowed to have a state of their own? sounds real fair.
11. The fith column strikes again. Israeli arabs support Jihad
(12.08.07)
12. Key Words written in palistinian Cement
PSALMS 83 ,   Selah   (12.08.07)
The Palestinian Authority must not recognize Israel as a Jewish state, .....head of the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee Shawki Khatib said Friday during a Hadash party annual convention in Nazareth ========= Islams goal is the removal of Israel as state and repace it with a muslim state under Sharia Law with at best Jews and Christians being second class citizens and being taxed heavily for not converting to Islam... unfortunatly Rice and others have rose colored glasses ignoring the potential disaster that is quite obious to others ...and was foretold over 2500 years ago by Israeli prophets
13. Israel - love it or leave it
Shmuli ,   Canada   (12.08.07)
there's lots of Arab countries out there, so goodbye, and good riddance.
14. Move the hell out!!!
Natan   (12.08.07)
You don't like it?? Move out!!! If you are so upset they you are being treated in Israel move to an Arab country. Better yet how about Gaza or the West Bank??? Bastards!! you love the democracy and freedom you enjoy here, freedom that you will NEVER enjoy in an Islamic country but yet you don't stop bitching and complaining...
15. Comparing Israel's system of government to
robin ,   israel   (12.08.07)
to the Apartheid that existed in South Africa is trivializing Apartheid. Placing sole responsibility for the lack of a Palestinian state on Israel is not only unjust but inaccurate.
16. Israeli Arabs are marginalized because...
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.08.07)
... they've never accepted Israel as a Jewish state and fraternized with their co-religionists abroad to undermine Israel. How can they expect to be fully accepted by the Israeli society when they behave like traitors, when they try to destroy Israel from within either by political or by home-brewn terrorism or both? So it is the other way around, my Arab friends: the day you will publicly and actively accept Israel for what it's always been - the JEWISH National Homeland - and work to build it and defendi it, you will gladly be accepted as a minority with full rights - just as in any democratic country. HOWEVER, we have been stabbed in the back and slapped on our faces by you too many times to give you any credit - let alone surrender our present and future or our lives in your hands. And despite all this, when you were offered to integrate, you've predictibly and invariably always refused - you preferred to stay on the sidelines, moaning about rights you never accepted and scheming with our enemies on how to demise us. This hate-littered so- called "conference" only proves again your treacherous ways and your ulterior motives leading to the destruction of Israel. Actually these lines are a message to your so-called "leaders" who have consistently managed to keep you from integrating. They have been nurturing hatred and treason while leading oppulent lives as members of parliament or fifth column agents paid by the enemies of Israel. You on the other hand, have been kept as bargaining chips, sidelined, chosing not to integrate, and without the future you deserve. It is time to replace these so called "leaders" with people who understand that Israel is here to stay regardless of the murderous plans our enemies have. It is time to move ahead and build a common future with us. We have proven that with other non-Jewish minorities in Israel. Now the proof lies with you! So again, bottom line is: accept Israel as a Jewish State, accept to integrate, build it and defend it and you will naturally inherit full rights as an Arab citizens in a Jewish State.
17. Scrape away all the crap & posturing and there the truth is.

Natan   (12.08.07)
The Kach party was banned from the Knesset yet Hadash is alive and well. This party supports and is being supported by our enemies. Wake up people!!!!!
20. trute, and...
oded   (12.08.07)
the fault lies n the arabs only... they never showed any loyalty to israel but to their ""plais"" brothers... they keep bismirching israel and continue to sabotage its exsitience, while taking advantage of israel's institutions. you can't have both ways-- and if you don't like it here, plenty of land for you in jordan!
21. Hamas revolution will end....
Steve ,   Fla.   (12.08.07)
...once a Palestinian state is established? Do not PLO and Hamas charters call for the annihilation of the Zionist entity? Why would this revolution end unless Palestinian state is established on all of Palestine / Israel? Wouldn't these Arabs be happier living in any one of a number of surrounding Arab tyrannies?
22. arab comment on jewish state
marv   (12.08.07)
arabs feel that israel's jewish state doesn't suit their taste and rights. So. go live in your generous arab countries. Get the hell out. The more this noise keeps happening, maybe Kahane was right. get rid of all the arabs to arab countries. They simply cannot live in peace with a good country like israel.
23. no probleml move to gaza! and stay there!

24. i'm sure minorities living in islamic states feel the same
David P. ,   Central Coast, USA   (12.08.07)
buts lets be real, if living in a "jewish state" is so terrible you can go to live in an islamic country anytime, there are plenty to choose from, we'll help you pack, don't write
25. Israel too tolerant of dangerous threat
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.08.07)
Israel is wrong to treat their arab citizens so well. They are a threat to the nation and should be treated as such. Look at what they do to thier own flesh and blood in a western nation. Hannah was born in Lancashire to Pakistani parents who raised her and her siblings as strict Sunni Muslims. She prayed and read the Koran, wore traditional Muslim clothes and was sent to a madrassa, a religious Muslim school. She ran away from home at 16 after overhearing her father organising her arranged marriage. Hannah was taken in by a religious education teacher and decided to convert to the Christian faith. Although unhappy, her parents tolerated their daughter’s dismissal-of Islam as a “teenage phase”. But when she opted to get baptised, while studying at Manchester University, her family were incensed and the death threats began. Her father arrived at her home with 40 men and threatened to kill her for betraying Islam. “I saw my uncle and around 40 men storming up the street clutching axes, hammers, knives and bits of wood,” she said. “My dad was shouting through the letter box, ”I’m going to kill you“, while the others smashed on the window and beat the door. They were shouting, ‘We’re going to kill you’ and ‘Traitor’. It was terrifying. I was convinced I was going to either die, but suddenly after about ten minutes the noise stopped and the men suddenly went away.” Since then Hannah, who gives talks to churches on Islam, has been on the run from her family, often being forced to flee her home with only a few minutes’ notice. After receiving the latest text threat from her brother, in June, she finally went to the police.
26. Arabs Jewish State
Ruth ,   L A US   (12.08.07)
If Arabs in Israel do not like a Jewish state they can go to Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt. But then those states do not accept them as citizens - only as non resident aliens. Oh well, then try Dafur Sudan. Intersting to see the cordination rejecting a Jewish state from Arabs all over. So much for negotiaons and compromise and good will. What a farace annopolis was.. and Olmert grovels to bush and Arabs.
27. wich fool barguti the right to speak from jail?
reuven ,   usa   (12.08.07)
let him rot in there
28. Why should we care?
Robby ,   San Jose, USA   (12.08.07)
There is a Star of David on the flag – I think everyone will get the hint. I don't understand why this is even an issue? Shouldn’t Israel be more concerned about things like security and respect for borders then what some snotty politicians choose to “recognize”. I know it’s a big if, but if there were to be a Palestinian state, and it is based on the current Palestinian constitution, then it will be an Islamic state. And if that were to happen, and an Israeli Arab that cares about that sort of thing should be free to immigrate, shouldn’t they?
29. when did Israel's negotiaters become lobotomized?
Steve   (12.08.07)
This PA's latest strategy has Israel confounded and dumbfounded. By subtly changing their verbiage from not accepting Israel to not accepting Israel as a Jewish state they have quite effectively advanced their position of destroying Israel except now it is more nuanced and palatable for the rest of the world to digest. Israel's problem is not having a brain in it's negotiating team and becoming flustered by the PA's outrageous position. When the deck is stacked simply walk away from the table.
30. The Annapolis Declaration: "The representatives...
Norway   (12.08.07)
of the government of the state of Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), represented respective by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, and President Mahmoud Abbas in his capacity as Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee and President of the Palestinian Authority, have convened in Annapolis, Maryland, under the auspices of President George W. Bush of the United States of America, and with the support of the participants of this international conference, having concluded the following joint understanding. We express our determination to bring an end to bloodshed, suffering and decades of conflict between our peoples; to usher in a new era of peace, based on freedom, security, justice, dignity, respect and mutual recognition; to propagate a culture of peace and nonviolence; to confront terrorism and incitement, whether committed by Palestinians or Israelis. In furtherance of the goal of two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security, we agree to immediately launch good-faith bilateral negotiations in order to conclude a peace treaty, resolving all outstanding issues, including all core issues without exception, as specified in previous agreements. We agree to engage in vigorous, ongoing and continuous negotiations, and shall make every effort to conclude an agreement before the end of 2008. For this purpose, a steering committee, led jointly by the head of the delegation of each party, will meet continuously, as agreed. The steering committee will develop a joint work plan and establish and oversee the work of negotiations teams to address all issues, to be headed by one lead representative from each party. The first session of the steering committee will be held on 12 December 2007. President Abbas and Prime Minister Olmert will continue to meet on a bi-weekly basis to follow up the negotiations in order to offer all necessary assistance for their advancement. The parties also commit to immediately implement their respective obligations under the performance-based road map to a permanent two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, issued by the Quartet on 30 April 2003 - this is called the road map - and agree to form an American, Palestinian and Israeli mechanism, led by the United States, to follow up on the implementation of the road map. The parties further commit to continue the implementation of the ongoing obligations of the road map until they reach a peace treaty. The United States will monitor and judge the fulfillment of the commitment of both sides of the road map. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, implementation of the future peace treaty will be subject to the implementation of the road map, as judged by the United States. Qur’an 3:26 reads: "Let not the believers take for friends or helpers unbelievers rather than believers." In other words, don’t make friends with unbelievers except to ‘guard yourselves from them’: pretend to be their friends so that you can strengthen yourself against them. Qur’anic commentator Ibn Kathir explains that this verse teaches that if "believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers," they may "show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly." Ibn Kathir explains "the scholars also agrees that if a person is forced into disbelief, it is permissible for him to…go along with them in the interests of self-preservation..." THEREFORE, APPEASEMENT, NEGOTIATIONS, TRUCES AND COMPROMISE - WILL NOT WORK WITH ISLAMIC JIHAD. The U.S. says that it does not negotiate with terrorists. "We do not negotiate with terrorists. We destroy them" (President Putin). Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office: "Israel does not negotiate with terrorists". http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=50894
