The Americans know Iran's intentions - everyone knows Iran's intentions. The American intelligence report was a deliberate political statement. Nothing we do or say will change this decision. Sending the delegation is a move partially from desperation, partially political spin to disguise another Olmert disaster. Instead of sending delegates to Washington, we should be preparing another sort of delegation to Teheran.

Instead, they continued to beat the drums of war against Iran as though nothing happened. Big mistake! The NIE exposed Israeli officials as fraud scheming to compel America fight Israel's wars. They are compounding the mistake by publicly lobbying on behalf of a war against Iran. This will further turn US public opinion against the war. This is Israel´s problem now. If USA doesn´t help then Israel will have to deal with it alone. Destroying Iran´s nuclear weapons doesn´t necessarily cause war. (compare with destroying Iraq´s Osirak-reactor in 1981. It´s not like the war in Iraq, because Israel is not going there to change the Government, just to destroy nuclear plants. Israel should not be depending on USA like it is now. Improve your relations to Britain and France and you´ll get normal good alliance not dangerous dependency that can cause things like the current situation when the country you depend on stabs you in the back. Israel has become significantly weaker because of this dependency. Think about all wars before 1973 (Yom Kippur war included) when Israel started receiving significant aid from US. Israelis were brave, fearless strong and won all the wars. Then in 2006 with all the armament and backup from US Israelis showed weakness for the FIRST time ever. It´s time to make Israel a truly independent state.

Don't be so quick to count US out! If I were preparing a surprise party for you Terry, I would do all I could to make you think the opposite. It is called disinformation. Let them get comfortable, let down their guard. Fill the media with information which makes it appear like we are weak and ignorant. Let them think we are naive. You may be correct Terry. It seems as if the attitude of our government is, "My mind is made up. Don't confuse me with the facts!" They want us to be confused with imaginary problems like global warming and ignore those that are leading to the end of this age and the beginning of Yahweh's reign on the earth, through His Firstborn, Yahshua.
