So much for haaretz praising olmert, the stooge, who calls russia helpful with regard to iran. They sell them nuclear fuel and antimissile systems. Russia could care less about israel. Add this to the list of olmert's misjudgements. When it comes to security, he is a total disaster and he will never repair himself. He has unreal fears of demographics(Jordan can address part of those concerns) and suicide bombings from his days of mayor jerusalem and he will pay any ransom to stop bombings even if means putting israel in a precarious position. At that point, he will leave israel as his brother and his sons are in the US and france. He will join them. He won't be fighting the missiles that will be landing in jeruslam and tel aviv.Think about it, he appoints winograd instead of a state commission(for self-serving reasons), they say he is responsible and he responds that he won't resign. How is this morally acceptable? He stalls winograd and pressures them so they can't ask for resignations. Kadimates and labor won't push for his resignation because they will be almost wiped out in elections.What israel needs is a leader with guts not a wimp. How about ambassador gillerman or uzi landau or moshe yaalon.It doesn't need a wimp like olmert who plays fast and loose and where the arabs have no fear of israeli retaliation. Think of all the concessions he has made to abbas when hard negotiations have not even begun.
