4. The case is humanitarian, the decision is political

As an American citizen and victim of Palestinian terrorism (Ben Yehuda Street, September 4, 1997) who has been seeking justice for the past ten years, I can say, without any reservation, that elements of both Bush administrations (father and son) have been working in concert with terrorists and their allies to obstruct justice by denying American victims of terrorism in Israel the compensation awarded them in US Federal courts.
CAIR's statement that they condemn the murder of David Boim (Z"L), and hoping that the perpetrators of the attck will be apprehended are lies. They are well aware that David's murderer was trained by the Iranian Guard in Bekka, and, on September 4, 1997, blew himself up near me and another American victim, on Ben Yehuda Street.
Since the conspiracy of the US State, [in]justice and Treasury Departments' efforts to deny American victims of Palestinian terrorism, not one victim has ever received the compensation awarded them in the US Federal Courts.
We do not want compensation from the US taxpayer, they aren't guilty of anything. We only demand that the American government fight terrorism by making such attacks a financially loosing proposition.
Since we suffer daily from the injury, both psychological and physical, and loss suffered as the direct result of the terrorist actions and the assistance given to them financially, logistically, and by other means, we demand that the US government either assist us, or desist from obstructing the American judicial process that seeks to apply the rule of law over the rule of the terrorist.
The issue is not political, it is humanitarian. If the Administration seeks to lead the way in fighting the war on terrorism and contributing to Mideast regional peace, it can only do so by demonstrating the foundation of American Democracy - the rule of law over the rule of violence.
If Israel's 60-year history has taught us anything, it is that those who seek to destroy us, will use any method to accomplish that goal - by violence and/or diplomacy. The West should have internalized the fact that appeasement of despots never brought peace and that peace without the rule of law is illusiory.
