1. NO to talking with Hamas
Brod ,   USA   (01.01.08)
Israel should never talk to Hamas despite the manipulations of Antisemites and Islamist-Jihadists. The fact is Hamas is hellbent on the destruction of Israel as its Manifesto clearly spells out. Israel should confront and defeat their enemies to submission. This is the only solution to dealing with the ravenous wolves in the Middle East.

talking to Hamas splits the enemies of Eretz Israel even more !!!!!
4. First Recognize Israel
Ariel ,   Jerusalem   (01.01.08)
First Recognize Israel Israel has recognized the right of freedom and autonomy for the Palestinian population. Israel Has repeatedly expresses its interest to the creation of a Independent Palestinian Home Land. But… Hamas has yet to recognize Israel’s right to exist… there can be no talking with any organization that denies your primary right to exist. Until that day comes… Hamas is the Enemy of the state of Israel, and they should be chased and brought to justice… In the Middle East we need leaders that are committed to taking steps towards the creation of a lasting and true peace… Hamas is not interested in making peace, it’s interested in destroying Israel, one day at a time… This is unacceptable.

7. A Waste Of Newsprint And Bandwith
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (01.01.08)
The only thing more worthless than an Arab promise to make peace with or recognize Israel is a Palestinian promise to do the same. A good resolution for the new year would be to ignore them as they are all cut from the same dysfunctional cloth. The West has all but given up on the Palestinians. When will Israel learn to do the same?
8. Talks with Hamas
Sammy ,   Newcastle UK   (01.01.08)
That will simply complicate matters vis dealings with PA/Fatah Call me Mr Cynical but as things stand even if Haniyeh is prepared to recognise Israel (as I believe he is) the pressure put upon him by the likes of Mashaal and his Iran paymasters, Zahar and the like make it impossible for Haniyeh to move. Haniyeh just does not have the strength to break out of this straightjacket unless he physically removes these people from power. And this he will find is too risky. And darkly too Hamas's flirtation with Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Al Quaida even a sprinkling of Taliban and Somali gunmen means there are now so many people in the shadows in Gaza ready to cause mayhem at a moments notice. According to one insider he reckons there might be now at least 120 Iranian agents, 60 or so Hezbollah agents and 30 Syrian agents operating from within Gaza. It begs the question - what can Haniyeh possibly bring to the table if he is not in control of Gaza? Gaza is a huge quagmire totally of Hamas's making. Unless Haniyeh purges Gaza of ALL these elements and seeks to recognise Israel there is no chance for any dialogue whatsoever with Israel, Fatah, PA or indeed the rest of the world.
9. Hamas comes crawling on its belly begging for ceasefire
Hamas is whack ,   usa   (01.01.08)
They have turned the Gaza Strip into an economically useless, politically unviable quasi-mafia state of anarchy. They think they can lob rockets and then pretend they're not appeasing Israel when they beg for mercy? How do these cowards expect to save face now? They are the worst appeasing dhimmi cowards. Read our lips: NO CEASEFIRE FOR CRYBABY HAMAS TERRORISTS!!
10. This shows the War On Terror is Bogus

11. OUR PARTNER IN PEACE.........................
AVROHOM BILGREI ,   ZION   (01.01.08)
SAID: In a ceremony marking the 43rd anniversary of the Fatah’s founding Monday, Abbas directed some rather scathing comments towards Hamas: “Those individuals that call themselves ‘heroes of the resistance’ were very quick to seek out a humiliating ‘hudna’ (ceasefire) with Israel,” ANYBODY READY TO ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET FOR BUSH NEXT WEEK ?
