32. Kosovo did not have the same status as other states in Yugo.
Mike ,   USA   (01.09.08)
as arianit mentioned Kosovo and Slovenia in the same context, Kosovo was an autonomous province of Serbia not Yugoslavia...and Slovenia was a full member State of Yugoslavia, in a a way Slovenes put their state in to the union and they took it out, Kosovo was brought into the union under Serbia’s borders with majority population being the Serbs Albanians only became a majority in that province after Holocaust conducted by SS Hanjar division during ww2 . The allegation of murder and rape against Kosovo minority Albanian population was carried out by KLA (classified by the US state department as a Norco Trafficking Terrorist Organization) against Albanians that didn’t want to join its mafia and crime infested ranks, just like Al-Quida is doing today to the people of Iraq that don’t want to join its ranks, so with that said are you saying that USA is going on a killing and raping spree in Iraq by trying to chase the Al-Quida out of it’s territory??? Awesome article and it finally puts the situation into a prospective where people can see it in a logical comparison
33. Israeli leadership act like ghetto Jews
Aaron Kinsberg ,   B'klyn   (01.10.08)
b"h Many countries have laws stating that foreign interests & foreign gov'ts can not interfere in the internal affairs of those countries. Yet the jellyfish leaders of Israel allow the EU to regularly give financial aid to leftist groups who support the interest of the Arabs in Yesha to the detriment of Israel. The situation will only get better when the Israeli leadership stops acting as ghetto Jews who 'tzitter' "Mah yomru hagoyim.'

35. Europe wants a binational secular Israel but not civil war
zionist forever   (01.13.08)
As much as the Europeans would love the idea of arab seperation in the hope it would lead to an end of Israel being a jewish state and become the binational state they have allways wanted they also know the risks involved are very high. A nice little civil war the Europeans could eventualy broker either as arab seperation or more preferable for them Israel abandon the idea of a jewish state because there are arabs as well and they dont like the idea of the country where they live being a spesificly jewish state. The only problem is they dont want another Lebanon on their hands if by some mirricle they did manage to do a deal with the palestians the last thing they want is to encourage another arab/Israel conflict this time a civil war which is much harder to control. Europe does alot of trade with Israel and I cant see them wanting to risk all that because there is a civil war raging thats tearing the country apart and destabilsing the region. Kosovo was one small little country nobody had ever heard of before the war, it wasnt a big trading partner with Western Europe or the United States Israel is just the opposite. The Europeans though and the Americans need to stay out of Israeli domestic policy. Bush as good as ordered the members of Olmerts coalition not to quit and bring him down thats a step to far even for the American president.
36. @ zionist forever
LazarOfSerbia ,   Serbia   (01.13.08)
Kosovo was never "a country", it is a province of Serbia. It's full name is "Kosovo and Metohija". Kosovo in Serbian means "the field of blackbird" and Metohija means "church land". There is another similar Serbian province in the north - Vojvodina, which always had the same status as Kosovo and Metohija - autonomous province. And that will be the status.
37. and the difference is? moslems
jack bauer   (01.15.08)
nobody realizes that the other region of Serbia called Vojvodina is filled with those other minorities. The same status as kosovo is applied there as well. The area has a minority of Serbians and does not campaign for independance. Why did they not engage in a reign of terror against Serbians? the answer is simple. Romanians and Hungarians and others dont follow islamic practices Nobody has an answer to why so many undocumented albanians from albania have been allowed to settle in kosovo in occupied lands that belong to Serbia
