1. Unless it's "My pet goat" Bush can't read!

Ron Hume ,   New Zealand   (01.07.08)
I find the article confusing. Where does Israel stand in relation to the NIE? Was the NIE report correct or was it just a PC endeavour to appease the Arab/Muslims? On whose side is Bush or does he not care about the truth because it's inconsequential to the US?
3. "iran continues to be a dangerous country"
tom ,   toronto, canada   (01.07.08)
iran's leadership is motivated by mahdaviat - a shiite belief in the return of the mahdi, and the idea that they can precipitate it by their own deliberate actions. like a macrocosmic suicide bomber, they are hellbent to get to paradise, in any way they can. and they fully intend to start, AND LOSE, a great war to achieve that goal, so they will not deterred by military threats or the prospect of losing. the issue isn't so much what kind of wmd they possess, but what is the best way to stop them, without killing a lot of innocent people? and just like with a suicide bomber, the best solution is rapid maximum lethal force, and aim for the head.
4. LIKE THE IRAQ FILE ?
Arik Silverman ,   Milwaukee USA   (01.07.08)
Only the names have been changed, the plot and the script are the same. Will George Bush recognize it? He's seen it before. Probably not.
5. This means nothing because Bush is the "decider"
Mike Jefferson ,   Washington, D.C.   (01.07.08)
And he has "decided" to throw Israel under the bus. Bush has made a back door deal with Tehran to sacrifice Israel. End of story.
6. NIE Report vs Mossad and IDF Report
Jerry Johnstone ,   Houston, Texas   (01.07.08)
For me I will trust the Mosaad and IDF reports, after all that is their Zip code ... not ours. Israel would pay the price first, yes I know Iran wants us gone, the U.S. It just seemed ironic the timing of the NIE Report, not to mention the content. It tells me they were wrong for years, and now we are supposed to believe them? I don't believe so. I may have ties to the U.S., however, with my being Jewish I also have ties to Israel, hence, both countries are important to me. The last thing I want to see is an Iranian nuke in either country. I believe both countries need to work together in ridding Iran of nuclear weapons. History should show that talks have been useless. Russia is working on their 2nd shipment on fuel, not to mention better SAM's. If they have stopped, then why the shipments? I pray this country wakes up before it is too late, fully gets behind Israel. Also not one inch to the PA ...send them to Iran and Syria.
7. Israel must decide to become a suicide bomber, if...
Persian CAT   (01.07.08)
it wants to attack Iran. The fact is Iran and the US are on a path to mend their differences because Iran is the ONLY country that can help GW get out of the Iraqi quagmire that he created for the US and led thousands of American twenty-somethings and countless Iraqis to their deaths with active encouragement from Israel and its agents in the US. The American people have realized their main enemy is the state of Israel and they are sending GW to fix the "problem". Barak might as well shove his presentation because whatever his spin about Iran is irrelevant. So, if Israel has to attack Iran by itself if it wishes to become a suicide bomber.

9. Dosen't Mossad know how to use Photoshop ?
Peter Morris ,   New Zealand   (01.07.08)
Software seems to be a major industry in Israel and letting the Mossad loose with Photoshop I would have thought like a boy in a lolly shop. Also picture strips would probably be the only thing George Bush would relate to.
10. Bush doesn't have a mandate to do anything anymore
His days in office ,   are numbered   (01.07.08)
11. Iran is only a cover-up. Bush's reason to visit Israel is to
Joseph P. ,   Jerusalem   (01.07.08)
implement his Annapolis plan of Israel's downfall. And that's why Bush has declined to meet any politician or other officials opposed to the Annapolis process. "Outraged Likud officials accused Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of sabotaging what would normally be a routine meeting between a visiting U.S. President and an Israeli Opposition Leader, a long-established diplomatic custom. “Given the extent to which the prime minister is willing to endanger the country to survive politically, it is not surprising that the Prime Minister’s Office is going out of its way to prevent Bibi (Netanyahu) from meeting with Bush,” said senior Likud sources"
