1. anything Bush would have said short of an end to the ...
Jared ,   orlando   (01.11.08)
existence of Israel, would be seen by that fundamentalist, , masquerading as a "freedom-fighter" Haniyeh as "biased" toward Israel.
2. excuse me Mr Haniyeh, those who would
Jared ,   orlando   (01.11.08)
become known as "palestinians" should have given the consequences of their actions some thought before fostering war with Israel. All these "refugees" from the 48 war would have been wise to accept the partition plan then, most would have had their homes , and through peaceful coexistence with Israel, access to any place to live of their choosing, perhaps even in Israel. What a different future such a choice would have brought. Instead the pals and Arabs chose not only to deny the world's partition plan but to try and conquer it all. Guess what, you lost! And now as in the ensuing wars, you dont want to deal with the consequences of your actions. Surprise. Surprise. You make the bed you sleep in, Mr haniyeh. And the same hate which consumed your brethren in 48 and led to poor choices then, consumes you now as well.
3. Is anything acceptable?
Micha   (01.11.08)
the hamass charter calls for the destruction of Israel. any questions from Jew haters? didn't think so. so, tough shit. deal with the Jews. Otherwise, you do realize, your days are numbered.
4. At least Haniyeh got one thing right
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.11.08)
'visit can't reduce Palestinians' historic rights on land' That is correct, you can't go below zero, which is their 'historic rights'. They never had any and they never will.
5. Golly Gosh Gee, I Never Saw That Coming
emanon ,   USA   (01.11.08)
No matter what was said nor who was favored, the Arabs will reject any deal because THEY DO NOT WANT PEACE. The only acceptable terms to them is the total elimination of Israel and the eradication of all non-muslims. The last applies to the world at large, not just Israel.
6. Haniyeh...
Natan   (01.11.08)
I wonder, sometimes , if Haniyeh is dumb or he thinks we are..Doesw he rally expect Bush to come on the side of a bunch of thugs and terrorists??Does he really expect to be trated the same as the only democracy in the region?? So, is he dumb???YOU BET
7. Daily Reminder - Hamas Is Irrelevant
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (01.11.08)
Haniyeh seems to be under the misguide illusion that anyone actually gives a damn what he or Hamas thinks. He and his organization are yesterday's news and time has passed them by.
8. Groundhog Day
Don ,   Rock Branch, USA   (01.11.08)
I see the groundhog crawled out of his hole early. Groundhog Day isn't until February 2nd. Let's hope he sees his shadow and crawls back into his hole for another six weeks.
9. Hamas Bush promises
Don ,   US   (01.11.08)
Haniyeh there were no millions of refugees as there were no millions of people in the land in 1948.
10. haniyeh
(01.11.08)
come on man, realize when you are done with and finished. bow your head in shame and not in honor. israel won, wins and will always win, stay alive and progress while your copnstituents, those palestinians you are robbing and starving, will forever live in murderous hopes about the jews and squalor and poverty. by the way, how is the food in gaza? any shortages? you don't look as if there are any shortages or lack of food in gaza, you big and fat buffoon. yes, while you eat well with the syrians, your people are indeed starving, but not you, hay?
11. #10 Is Right! Look how well fed Pal politicians are!
(01.12.08)
It seems the food shortages are not reaching the Palestinian politicians does it? These people are sickening hypocrites beyond belief.
12. Too many "olives & salt"
Barry ,   Tokyo   (01.12.08)
has seemed to have caused some brain damage to the Palestinians. They are delusional and refuse to move on. Gangsters cannot lead nations. The Taliban already tried to do it once.
13. bush should be one sided
jerome ,   basalt, co   (01.12.08)
he should be on the side of truth! there shouldn't be a terrorist Pally state of hate ever! they had many chances and always lie and hate and show the true colors of ignorance!
14. A Palestinian State=A Terror State.
Albert Fournier ,   Ashdod - Israel   (01.12.08)
If we want to have a chance to live in peace, in the Middle East, the Western countries or the rest of the world, the idea of an additional terror State should be abandoned as explained in : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2007/12/they-came-by-sword-and-will-go-by-sword.html
15. didn't haniyeh represent the "moderate" bloc of hamas?
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (01.12.08)
the answer is: YES! this IS the "moderate" side of hamas. it's all relative, yet all completely unacceptable.
16. Bush biased toward Israel??
Shoshi ,   Jerusalem   (01.12.08)
Pres Bush is biased toward Israel?? He came to help Olmert give away the store. He called for an end to the "occupation." (I call for an end to the occupation also - that the Arabs would stop occupying our Jewish land!) He spoke of compensating Arab refugees for the (so-called) property they lost when we won the war. I could go on, but it's not necessary...
17. Piecemeal distruction
Mike Jefferson ,   Washington D.C.   (01.12.08)
Of course Haniyeh is upset. Bush only offered the piecemeal distruction of Israel instead of the wholesale dismantling of the country at one time. I know, let's reward this genocidal maniac with a state and more $! Oh, the Europeons and US are doing that.
18. What are you guys on
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (01.12.08)
You are blinded by the fact that your entire country was founded on terrorism by terrorists. Your country is soaked with the blood of innocent women and children and you ask us to forget your most recent bloody past while you feign rights/memory to a land that for more than 1000s of years was Arab.
19. Hamas is no different than the P A RIGHT ???
M. S. ,   mpls america   (01.12.08)
I realize Hamas may learn that futile terrorists attacks means only casualties Israel is a armed camp more less as up on as high a war footing as England was in 1944 only Syria may break the dead lock as for what Bush offers again he states what wuz stated in 1947 nothing new nothing has changed to America in over 60 years RIGHT ??? THANK YOU... M. S.
20. Palestinians aka ancient Greeks/Cypriots
Shlomo ,   Israel   (01.12.08)
The Palestinians have rights to Israel for two reasons: 1 - G-d didn't give them the land of Canaan as an inheritance, He gave it to the Jewish people. 2 - The Palestinians have an ancient homeland. It is called Greece/Cyprus. Fact. Check the Tanach and you will see. Also why is Haniya still alive!
21. #18 YOU COMPLETELY IGNORE FACTUAL HISTORY!!!
andy ,   orlando,u.s   (01.13.08)
The United Kingdom of Israel was established by the Israelite tribes with Saul as its first king in 1020 BCE. In 1000 BCE, Jerusalem was made the capital of King David's kingdom and it is believed that the First Temple was constructed in this period by King Soloman.David, the second King of Israel, established Jerusalem as Israel's national capital 3,000 years ago. When the Romans defeated the Jewish rebellion of 67-70 CE, and merged the province of Judea with Galilee, Samaria and Idumaea, the name Palaestina was applied to the newly formed larger unit,to sever all Jewish connection to the land. The Arab conquest of the land was in 638 CE.In other words Lydia the Arabs only appeared on the scene in Israel some 1600 years after the Jews first arrived! STOP distorting the truth and spreading lies that "land that for more than 1000's of years was Arab" .What complete crap! The Jewish people have been present in Israel for at least 3000 years!!!! 1600 years before any arab presence!!! I challenge you to respond to these FACTS!!!
22. #21, Another Moshe Dyan quoite
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (01.13.08)
“We would send a tractor to plough someplace where it wasn't possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn't shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance farther, until in the end Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use artillery and later the air force also, and that's how it was. I did that, and Laskov and Chara [Zvi Tsur, Rabin's predecessor as chief of staff] did that, Yitzhak did that, but it seems to me that the person who most enjoyed these games was Dado [David Elzar, OC Northern Command, 1964-69]." So much for your peaceful cohabitation with the Arabs. Here is another and in April 1973 from the peaks of Massada he proclaimed a vision: "a new State of Israel with broad frontiers, strong and solid, with the authority of the Israel Government extending from the Jordan [river] to the Suez Canal." (Iron Wall, p. 316)
23. #21 I replied to your 'factual history'
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (01.13.08)
#22 is my 2nd submission on the same topic and should have come before not after..
24. Bush
Ed church ,   U.S.A   (01.14.08)
Bush 4me is the matter of question I was hoping he was able to talk on both sides of the coin not being bias on one side... but he was not in a position to call on favorites and not turning against Israel ..is better to work with people people in all areas
