Riz Khan ,   Aljazeera Network   (01.15.08)
While the people of Gaza have to ration their food and are starving, Ismail Haniyeh is sure getting fat! Hamas hordes everything for them selves! people of Gaza you voted them in to office in Gaza so only you can save your selves from this eveil! As Ismail Haniyeh told me in his interview,” LET THEM EAT CAKE"
33. Jabba the Hutt
Don ,   Rock Branch, USA   (01.15.08)
I like the picture accompanying this article. Haniyeh looks like Jabba the Hutt in Star Wars!
34. It's a start...now we need to finish the job
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (01.15.08)
Why stop now? Hamas has never been interested in peace. The rockets they fire into Israel on a daily basis is testimony to that. It is time to end the problem. Give them a month's notice to evacuate and then level Gaza, seal off the borders and and return the whole strip of dust to Egypt. Then attempt peace with Abbas in the West Bank. Peace through strength. No more should Israelis have to wonder if a rocket will land on their homes. No longer should we tolerate words of peacce without actions of peace. Abbas needs to control his people...and Gaza needs to return to the dust from which it arose
35. #19 Talula, Israel - Quite an astute observation.

But after the eventual elections, when Olmert & his cronies get the boot, they will have "years of mourning" not days.
36. #26, Mike
israeli ,   israel   (01.15.08)
Chanalau has a point, Mike: the Hamas are indeed amoeba brained killers and payback time is now.
37. HAMAS LEADERS SHOULD BE TARGETED NEXT!!!

38. To Khalid and those who believe that Hanniyeh...
Hiram ,   Paris   (01.15.08)
...will help buidling the peace : Hamas' military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, claimed responsibility for the rocket fire at Sderot. The organization also claimed responsibility for the firing of several mortar shells at Gaza-region communities. I am not sying they are responsible ...they are claiming responsability, like it was an honor, like if they were in a "real fight" . UNfortunately Islamists have only one courage : That of using civilians housings as launch pads.....in the same fashion they also know how to use civilian as a human shields, attitudes both in line with the basic principles of any terror organisation ... So who is the bad one and who is the good one ?
39. #18, maybe you should re-read the article
Danny   (01.15.08)
The first son was killed in 2003 when the IDF came to kill Zahar the elder. There is no indication he was a fighter - but he may have been. The second son killed today was killed because we came to him, not because he was "sent out". Care to name some prominent senior Hamas members who blew themselves up?
40. Branded Liar
ATBL ,   Singapore   (01.15.08)
We are watching this crab-head, Ismail Haniyeh is lying again and again with his words and thoughts and hands and mouth and eyes and ears and ..... every part of his body.
41. Free Gaza
Free Gaza ,   Gaza, Palestine   (01.15.08)
Great job freedom fighting IDF! Now there's only the coward hiding Haniyeh and al-Zahar and and few of their terrorist family members left. Continue the great job of liberating the Gaza for a free Palestine. God bless the IDF!
42. Throw them all out of Gaza
Daniel ,   Israel   (01.15.08)
43. When the bear is continulay ....
Psalms 83 ,   Selah   (01.15.08)
Poked with the qussams ...its going to swat the source STOP THE QUSSAMS and the retilitory responces will stop ...and in time a more co-opertive spirit will develope But the Leaders of Hamas would not want a co-opertive spirit ...conflict serves thier goal of eviction of israel from palistine
