The most frightening aspect is that Washington Officials along with the International Community falls for this ploy, and condemns Israel for trying to prevent, stop these rocket barrages. For some unknown reason of insanity, Israeli’s are not allowed, expected to protect their children, for these Hamas hammer blows. It is easy for the Hamas Leadership hiding behind its shield wall of Arab civilians, running out of bounds into Egypt, Syria, Iran and other places.. War is a terrible ugly thing, I say the Hamas does not leave the field of battle it has created, chosen , forced Israel upon, without tasting their own blood in their mouths. You do not assassinate a murderer of children or of your family, you stop him cold period.

Every country has a right to defend itself from attacks; including Israel. Israel is being attacked on a weekly basis by people who hold no regard for human life. Why does no one explain the suppression that Arab leaders place on their own people, to keep them silent and ignorant.?Why does no one see the two-faced stance of this 'Philistine" wanna-be nation? Israel must and will defend itself against lawlessness and hate.

First, Livni forgets to state that IF she and Olmert get their way, then there will not be a need for any other 'processes' or any other claims on her. Why? Terrorizing Gaza does not defend Israel. It makes every country in the world except the USA dislike or hate it more. Adopting the Arab peace initiative defends Israel. 22 Arab nations have sworn to recognize Israel and have full trade relations, etc. with Israel if it adopts the Saudi initiative. Israel does not do that because it wants to steal ALL the Palestinian land for itself. Slowly, so the world doesn't get too angry, but it is angry.

What's the real reason the U.N. seems to ignore the rocket attacks? How many people have to be killed before it becomes an issue? Have the Palestinian authorities done anything about the rockets? They should be controlling the terrorists instead of forcing Israel to deal with them. Many other countries would have responded to rocket attacks in a much more violent manner than Israel, and they would be supported by the U.N. What would Russia or the U.S.A. do in response to hundreds of rockets being shot into one of their cities? What other country would continue to supply electricity to terrorists who fire rockets at them? Israel should be praised for being so humane!!!
