33. HAHA you bashers did not read the article!!
Elchonon ,   Chevron   (02.04.08)
I just love foaming talkbackers that spew crap and dont even read the article! “Even if the woman in question is modestly and appropriately dressed, as soon as a woman’s photo appears on our site they’ll pull the plug on us, said Levy. “Our very existence as a haredi website is contingent upon our maintaining a very strict, exacting moral code that we cannot deviate from.”
34. Haredim erasing women's images
Eli ,   Israel   (02.04.08)
Why is this surprising. The Haredim treat women as chattels. You'd think they were capable of reproducing by parthenogenesis. Imagine what goes on under the surface in that sick society.

charles ,   petach tikva   (02.04.08)
with all the mails you send [ you tell it often ] , with all the tb's you write , do you have time for your husband left ? :-) Well getting wed three times is the same as building a house . The first one , you make errors . the second one you repair , and the third one is finally OK , without problems .
36. #5, your ignorance is showing.
Yonatan ,   Los Angeles   (02.05.08)
37. Just like the Bolsheviks !
Hiram ,   Paris   (02.05.08)
...did when some pictures of officials were taken and published ...after beeing cleaned up of the "disturbing" elements . This nis yet an other trait we share with the most fundamentalist arab country : the hatred of women...possibly because they are ...more intelligent and more open than we are ? Remember, a mollah remains a mollah , regardless if in Teheran or ....in Jlem !
38. Modestly dressed.
jake ,   nyc   (02.05.08)
I agree. If the woman is not moderately dressed, remove her photo.
39. What's the problem?
Phil ,   Zurich   (02.06.08)
Certain peaple have certain stringent principles - so what?
40. .. exactly like Saudis??
Phil ,   Zurich   (02.06.08)
.. really? do theiy only apply sharia rules for thieves?
41. charedi bashers.
chava ,   manchester uk   (03.03.08)
it never ceases to amaze me why some secular Yiden cant wait to bash the charedim.our fellow Yiden are living in a war zone, our soldiers risk their lives day and night and all the charedi haters find to do is pour more oil on the fire.we have enough enemies, without those from within causing more sinat chinam.Hashem Yerachem.
42. It's a technical issue, not anything personal!
Tee ,   Jerusalem   (03.03.08)
If you read the article more carefully, you see that the manager of Ladaat is afraid that pictures of women won't make it through the strict automatic content filters. Now, if the content filter was a human being, there would be no problem - it could distinguish between modest and immodest dress. The issue is a technical one, not something personal. Can everyone please calm down?
