2. Enrichment is Iran's Right as a Sovereign State, so big Deal
Lev Bronstein ,   Moscow, RU   (02.06.08)
Big deal, so they can create nuclear fuel for their domestic program even more efficiently just as other have for years. Iran, a sovereign state, has just as much of a right to develop the full fuel cycle as any other nation in the world and is and never has been intimidated by the west. Russia also stands behind our Persian friends and is forging a strong and peaceful relationship based upon mutual respect, unlike the West who first chose to impose a ruthless murdering dictator upon Iranians and today continues to threaten a country for daring to advance its science and technology for the benefit of its citizens and who has never attacked anyone in their entire modern history.
3. Iran is advancing technologically so fast
arabic obserber   (02.06.08)
I didn't expect that Iran could really do advance like that but it sounds like being threatened make regimes care for military development and this needs development in science.
4. Ah, Lev my man
Norm ,   USA   (02.07.08)
You see Lev, it is a big deal when Iran struts its missiles on parade that say "Death to America" and we are in America. We have every right to believe them. The next time a Iran supported Chechen terrorist blows up a bomb in Moscow...we can talk again. I hope you avoid injury.
5. Come on now Norm, which country is occupying other Nations?
Lev Bronstein ,   Moscow, RU   (02.07.08)
Iranians have a right to distrust and hate Americans, as Americans are the ones occupying two formerly sovereign nations on either border of Iran, imposed a ruthless dictator upon them, protected the Shah from prosecution and have been supporting an oppressive regime (Israeli) in their quest to ethnic cleanse Muslims from their homeland. You also forget that it was the United States who not only started the Iranian nuclear program, but encouraged them to do so to put more of their oil on the market to supply you wasteful yanks and your 12 MPG SUV's. BTY, who elected the US to be the worlds dictators and how long do you think your failing economy will last if you continue your arrogant foreign policy? Your own border security is such a joke that you better learn Spanish, your education system produces children that are some of the dumbest in the world, your dependence on foreign oil increasing almost as fast as dollar is declining (even the Canadians are laughing at you today) and your once lofty image is being tarnished so bad it may never recover. So please sit back on your confident and complacent arses while your left in the dust by Russia, India, China and just pray they don't start dumping the greenback for the Euro, for when that starts, your first depression will pale in comparison for what is just down the road..

Iran makes first stem cell mouse Sat, 09 Feb 2008 19:59:06 Scientists at the stem cell department of Iran's Royan Research Center have successfully produced a mouse using embryonic stem cells. The mouse was created by injecting the embryonic stem cells of a black mouse into a white mouse's blastosists, the director of the research team told IRNA. The resulted embryos were then transferred to another mouse's uterine and finally a chimera mouse was born, he continued. Hossein Baharvand said his team was looking forward to producing mice with specific characteristics by genetically modifying their embryonic stem cells. They claim their findings could help scientists study the role of specific genes in the body. In 2006, Royan Research Center scientists successfully cloned the country's first lamb, Royana. PKH/HGH
