because tel aviv is just like any other major city o the planet with its ups and downs... exactly as true zionist goals of return would have it
2. Your Tax Money At Work?!
Christy ,   Boston, US   (02.08.08)
I would rather a different solution be found for heroin addicts, if they were spending MY tax money. I wonder if they asked the tax PAYERS if it was OK to use public tax money this way? I guess Tel Aviv must have so much tax money, they just had to find something to spend it on! If I were hooked on any substance and lived in Tel Aviv, I'd be demanding the government supply my drug of choice. If I were an older, chronic alcoholic, I'd say I couldn't be rehabilitated and demand the government supply me my daily fix of alcohol.
3. The muslimes are right on this one

You do NOT give more drugs to drug users. You arrest them all, and if they are caught again, you kill them. My sone died, at age 20, as a result of a drug addict girlfriend shooting him up with heroin. Drug users will all eventually die. Scare them straight --hopefully before they start. If they are already on drugs, and will not stop, kill them now, and save their families a lot of extended heartache. Keep in mind that the heroin is supplied by ARABS and muslimes, in part to allow us to destroy our culture. The msulimes kill heroin users. That is not an entirely bad idea.
4. A sensible approach

This is a sensible approach to a very difficult problem. No one plans on becoming a drug addict. There are often psychological factors which contribute to the addictive behavior. Given a choice between supplying addicts with heroin, or having those addicts out in the street, stealing to support their habit, the choice is obvious. Israeli drug law is among the most draconian.

6. Re;#2 - This is actually the cheapest solution.

It saves money on law enforcement from drug related crimes such as theft and assault. This also cuts down on private security and insurance costs in the business and private sectors. It also takes money away from the drug dealers because addicts do not need them for their fix. It also curtails street distribution because a lot of distributors are addicts hustling to earn their fix. This in turn may mean that less people are turned onto drugs on the street. In other words less addicts. This is also a way of curtailing prostitution from addicts which in turn curtails the spread of various diseases. Heck, addicts getting their fix by health providers help curtail the spread of diseases by addicts who re-use their needles. Also bear in mind that legal heroin is much cheaper than street heroin. Their are a lot of benefits here for a bargain price.
7. Heroin to addicts
Greg Lee ,   Australia   (01.11.09)
I been a struggling heroin addict for 16 yrs now and am currently on the Methodone program. I have withdrawen more times than i would like to remember. I can see a up side to this program but it will mean nothing if there is not a follow up program for the adddicts for when they have completed their program. The hardest part to withdrawing isn't the physical side, it's the mental side. To tell the body that it doesn't need heroin is hard but to tell the mind it doesn't need it is murder. Any program will work if it's to fix the problem not a temporary half solution
