we have been waiting so long for retaliation. It's almost too late for a result from now. In my opinion the only message pals should understand is facing to a new and tough prime minister. They have been so used to a weak Olmert that nobody will take him seriously.

Isn't it great how the world pressured Israel into ceding Gaza in exchange for peace with these wonderful people who don't think twice about firing on kids, and who dance in the streets when an elderly woman is murdered? And how are the once verdant gardens of Gush Katif doing these days? Israel is not the problem.

Even if my wishes are almost impoossible, I hope he will recover for the best, and have a normal life as adult. I'm very sad for the little boy. I expect no compassion from the international community... But let's begin by ourselves, beeing more "humans" towards people from Sderot, or at least less indifferent.

MAY THE PARENTS BE CONSOLED BY ALL OUR PRAYERS FOR THEM.

Im sure Mr Olmert and Mr Barak slept well in their luxury appartments well away from the rocket fire. However the mother of those young boys im sure didnt sleep. It appears to the country that you really dont care, just more empty words from hearless , spinless politicians that only care about their own egos and making as much money as they possibly can.

Invite UN ,EU and British Foreign Ministers and of course their children to come and spend the weekend in Sderot. Of course all the usual antisemites will respond by saying why shouldnt they spend time in Gaza. However there is a massive difference as Israeli attacks on Gaza are always in response to various terror and suicide attacks in Israel and care is taken to try and minimize civilain casualties.

On November 11, Yasser Arafat died. In January 2005, Mahmoud Abbas was elected. Like Arafat before him, Abbas continued to call for the destruction of the State of Israel. On December 31, 2004, Abbas called for Israel to withdraw to the 1949 borders, and claimed Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state. He also declared the right to the millions of Palestinian refugees to return to Israel, which would destroy the nation. On January 4, he declared that Israel was the "Zionist enemy." He added, "The small jihad is over and the big jihad has begun." Since that time, we have seen Olmert and the left continually hugging, smiling, and declaring that we have a partner for piece. Therefore, we have no other conclusion except to believe Olmert is of the Palestinian camp and should be removed forcibly, placed under arrest, and charged with treason against the State of Israel.

1) Shoot Foreign volunteer in back while he works in farm field. 2) Blow up 76 year elderly woman while she shops. 3) Maim eight year old boy while he plays with his brother. Why would anyone in their right mind support these people?

I can understand the anger and feel the pain that Israelis must have over the latest attacks upon Israeli targets, but at the same time I also feel no less for the much larger number of Palestinian children who have been horrible injured or killed by similar Israeli attacks upon occupied Palestine recently as well. What I cannot understand is why when faced with never ending violence, why neither side can rise above their hatreds and learn that only peace will bring security and prosperity for all. Israelis must realize that their oppressive occupations have failed to achieve peace after 40 years of trying, and the Palestinians must learn that retaliating in kind will not lead to their dream of ending occupations either. I do fault the Israelis for their continued attacks even when a cease fire was an option and voluntarily imposed by one side , but the Palestinians must also recognize that by responding in kind does not necessarily give them the higher moral ground either and if they want to continue to earn the hearts and minds of the people of the world, they must not lower themselves to the same level, but instead obtain their rights, which the vast majority of the world agree that they deserve through legal means and not further escalation, as the continuation of war is in the interest of neither side, and will only lead to more suffering of the innocent on both sides.

As the citizen of a nation which openly collaborated with the Nazis to murder half of its Jewish population and steal all their property, I really do not believe you have any right to an opinion on the matter. However, let me add that no country other than Israel in the world would have met such genocical attacks with such tolerance and restraint. That the world expects from Israel what it would not give itself just goes to show that nothing in terms of anti-Semitism has really changed since Auschwitz was "liberated" over sixty years ago.

There is no Jew living in Gaza any longer (which makes me wonder, btw why a Jew is not allowed to live there, while non-Jews can live freely in Israel (e.g. Nazareth, Um al Fahm etcetera)). And once you open the border, weapons, drugs and women are being trafficked. I believe the Egyptians can give you more information on this.

I agree it's very sad when innocent kids suffer,but don't blame the Israelis for Palestinian children's death and injurys.Put the blame right where is belongs on Palestinian militants who openly operate in civilian areas and use these kids as human shields. The Palestinians are not "retaliating" or "responding in kind" when they fire missles into Israel their trying to kill anybody Jewish they can. They even openly boast about this. Several months ago,a Kassam rocket landed next to a nursery school in Sderot sending 9 children to the hospital. Islamic Jihad called the press and claimed the attack was a "gift" for Jewish children on the first day of school. If you think the Israelis are "just as bad" or "worse" then the Palestinians name one single time they deliberately fired missles at a kindergarten sending 9 children to a hospital and then issued statements bragging about it like they did some great deed.
