yes the deal has been struck. pullout is being planned. sudden removal of key officers of mossad and idf will be sign that handover is emminent. olmert is convinced he has more than enough power in knesset to succeed. deal also incudes the handover of sderot and the withdrawal to pre-1967 borders. this will be massive, middle of the night operation. as the idf units pull out hamas and hezbollah will units will enter and occupy. if operation is a success olmenrt plans to declare all other polictical parties null and void and delare a state of emergency that will in effect make him dictator for life.

Both Jerusalem & the Golan Heights were formerly anexed to Israel by Menachem Begin and the laws says that any plans to give up those areas must first have a Knesset majority vote followed by a referendum allowing the people to have the final say in the matter. Assuming a deal has been done which will give the PLO soverignty over arab villages & naighborhoods what does Israel get out of this deal ? Will all the Israeli arabs living in these villages & other areas that will be given to the PLO loose their Israeli citizenship at least lowering the arab population of Israel? Unlikley these arabs will probably fight for duel natonatity after all if an ollah can have duel nationality why cant an arab born here and they will go to international courts who will allmost certainly rule against any Israeli plan to take citizenship from them. Even the Americans would probably support a ruling like this afterall if we are against a right of return then we should at least accept the demand that Israeli arabs dont loose their citizenship. We will then be in a position where we have divided Jerusalem but still got just as many arabs so there has been nothing gained and alot lost. Olmert has no right to do deals on thing like this he might like to consider himself one but he is not a king. Israel is not his private property to do as he wills with as hard as he has been trying Israel is still a democracy he hasnt changed that yet and in a democracy you have laws and those laws are above any individual ruler. The people need to start making their voices heard before our King does sell Jerusalem and the rest of the country because nobody spoke up when they had the chance.
