Let's hear it for straight journalism without sticking in any lefty ideas! Hope the PM reads this.
2. Terror Competition
Ehud ,   Sydney   (02.15.08)
Imad and Hizbollah are terrorists, we can't deny that. What strikes me is the state terrorism carried out by out Government and Mossad. Starting from the village attacks on Palestinians prior to 1948, Bombing of King David Hotel, Bombing of 13 planes in Beirut Airport, Hijacking of a syrian civilan plane by three IAF fighters in the 50s, bombing if the American warship, and the list goes on and on. I am so embarrased to be an Israeli. Israel is a terrorist state.
3. Message to Syria and Narallah
Walt ,   U.S.A.   (02.15.08)
There is an obvious message to Syria in this, but I am sure that Nasrallah is not feeling very comfortable at this moment. Israel needs to realize that it does not benefit from restraint, and that its enemies will seek its destruction whether it responds or not.
4. SYRIA IS NO SANCTUARY ANYMORE
RCA ,   USA   (02.15.08)
This brilliant operation proved it. Whoever carried out this action should keep on the offensive as often as the intelligence makes it possible. Syria should be shaken from it's perch of smug security.
5. Quite a feather in Israelis hat sorry Syria RIGHT ???
M. S. ,   mpls america   (02.15.08)
I realize although none of us average citizens ever heard of this terrorist they all look alike to me it is quite a feather in Israeli's hat lucky Israel could this lead to more escalation retaliation sorry if any IDF die from this but either they react now or react later Arabs especialy terrorists have a long memory like a Elephant as for sanctions for what we are all adults here war is war you do it we do it every body does it why they make soap especialy hand sanitizer to clean cleanse our own hands so sanctions what are sanctions English hold the world record for sanctions stoping J*ws from Palisteine in 1940 RIGHT ??? thank you... M. S.
6. Why point the finger at Assad what has he done RIGHT ???
M. S. ,   mpls america   (02.15.08)
I realize a party whether it is in America or any where is made up of many people so why does Bush others accuse Assad he does nothing it is the terrorists the multitude who decide Israel was attacked across the Suez canal in 1973 by 20 000 Egyptian soldiers not by Anwar Sadat he was literaly draged in to war same with Farouk in 1948 Nasser in 1956 1967 by the way congradulations Egypt in wining the All Africa soccer championship consecquetively way to go WTG wonder if they dare now go to war against Israel but then I like to have liberal ideas thinking whatever and so unfortunately world often run by peace loving dove nik N**is after all they have a politicial party all I have is me myself I any way Happy Saint Valentines Day every body RIGHT ??? thank you... M. S.
7. May be they killed him to have a excuse to attack Israel
M. S. ,   mpls america   (02.15.08)
I realize another possibility is they killed him to have a excuse to attack Israel J*ws all over the world a assassinated martyr is worth more than a live terrorist sorry if any body suffers for this RIGHT ??? thank you... M. S.
8. #2 Your'e not an Israeli..anymore, but a coward living in
AUSTRALIAN GUY   (02.15.08)
Australia, who wouldn't even stay to fight to for your own beliefs in your own country. Go home and join your lefty friends. You're gutless, and I for one dont welcome you here.
9. links Syria intimately to this arch-terrorist.
Ypip ,   Canada   (02.16.08)
Syria is part and parcel of the axis of evil. It doesn’t only aid and harbor terror cells and organizations, but also helps them launch attacks on Israel, Jordan and even Iraq.
10. Why would syria admit it was him?
whatever ,   cary, nc   (02.17.08)
They could have made up anything else and not admit it was him just as they did with nuclear site? Why admitto harboring a terrorist if they don't stand to gain something? Maybe a deal with US or maybe as someone else said an exscue to attack Israel? or a 3rd posiibility not sure but something does not sound right about this.
11. to #4 - Syria no sanctuary
Chris ,   St Louis USA   (02.17.08)
Between this and the bombing of the "nuke plant" not long ago (regardless of whether Israel is responsible for both) truly shows there is no safe place - Nasralla's got to be looking over his shoulder. May they all be martyred and reach their highest goal....
12. Imad Mughniyeh: The Power of His Death!
Dyke Davis ,   San Francisco, USA   (02.19.08)
Imad Mughniyeh's killing was merely a psychological weapon against those who falsely believe that one death or one man impacks the direction of a worldwide moment. His death is merely a death and will be only a ripple in the fabric of endless war and death. If, anything Iman's demise will celebrate the power of this single human-beings ability to affect such greatness and fear against nations who have the most powerful intelligence and militaries the world has ever seen. He will surely by held in high esteem by the world of resistence fighters and anti-american/zionist to be imulated and studied far into the future...
