As the son of two Halabi Jews who were ethnically cleansed from Syria in the '40's, I have plenty of CLEVER 'advises' to give you... 1) Stop keeping your Palestinian populations in concentration camps. Not only are these fellow human beings, I'm sure that if you took the time to actually listen to their family histories, you would find out that a large number of them are actually of Syrian origin. Also, when the Syrian government embarked on a campaign of ethnically cleansing it's indigenous Jewish population, it seized a number of assets (houses, bank accounts, etc) for which Syrian Jews haven't been recompensated for. Assuming Assad 1 or 2 hasn't blown these funds on a shopping spree, why don't you use those funds to help rehabilitate those Palestinians (who are actually Syrians) into Syrian society? 2) Quit whining about the Golan. We won it in '67 because you attempted genocide against us for the second time that century. Israel has held sovreignty over the region for twice as long as Syria held it. The Golan is culturally, historically, and ethnically Israeli. 3) Tell the boy king al-Assad to put a muzzle on Moallem. Does he actually think a country that illegally funnels weapons to Hezbollah can win a lawsuit against the US over legally sending weapons to Israel? In other words, syrian, cut the wishful thinking out of your foreign and domestic policy, look at your country's atrocities against Jews and Palestinians, and demand leadership that has a firmer grip on reality.
