It seems like everyday, another sad and outrageous story comes out of this country. Just a few days ago, the head of the Church of England called for Sharia law in his country. There is no other country in Europe where the situation is so bad. This is a problem not only caused by the large number of Muslim immigrants in Britain. It is a problem that goes much deeper, and has something to do with the sick mentality of the British people themselves.

I live in London and I can tell you that this generation ought to be ashamed of their ideas and their morality. They know diddly squat about Jews or the State of Israel. They are mostly impressed by youth peer pressure groups. They could not fight their way out of an intelledctual paper bag where politics and economics is concerned. They spend most of their money on alcohol and drugs and clothes made by child labour in poor countries. They spend most of their time drunk and stoned on drugs like cocaine and marijuana. They spend seven days a week hooked up to their ipods and mp3 players allowing their minds and social sensibilities to be bombarded with pop music and trash rock music. They''re the most arrogant generation Britain has produced. But this is a generation that has been bred by its State and regimes of politicians who practice double standards.....posing diplomatically on the world stage but making money from arms deals to arabs. The British are wrong about Israel and wrong about Palestinians. In fact from those I have interviewed over the past 20 years most support Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah etc. I am so disgusted by these people. What can Israel do if the vibrant young minds of the west do not demonstrate for an end of the policy of armed agression against Israel? Israel can only stand by its ally USA. I would love to learn the demographics of the Student Union at the LSE. How many are of Arab decent? The UK is already being called to question regarding it's ability on security due to the overwhelming Arab residency. I suspect that the LSE iStudent Union is tossing words like "Apartheid" about because they have a large Arab base. Interestingly enough Israeli Arabs prefer Israeli citizenship. It is only militant Arabs that want to see a change. And these Arabs do not want equality or peace they want to remove Israel from the World. Does anyone think for one minute Jews would be welcome to live in their homes in a "Palestinian State?"

They have a moral right to boycott Israel. One wouldn't expect them to boycot such democtratic countries as Sudan, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Arabia (run by Ibn Saud family) Syria, Pakistan, Libya, Iran, Morocco, Algeria, Cuba, Belarus, Russia, and most other countries on the globe where all human rights are completely respected, you see because Israel is the root of all evil. Perhaps #26 would like to provide a source for this dubious statistic? I did not agree with this motion in any way, but I am ashamed to see such criticism as #2. Yes, some students may act like this but I am disgusted that one-sided talk is being used here without challenge (just like the motion). For your reference, I am a student, I do not drink alcohol or use any other recreational drugs, I rarely buy new clothes, and I listen to my MP3 only occasionally (and then it's generally classical music). Yes, I do not know much about the Israeli-Palestine conflict, which is part of the reason I voted against the motion. However, there were students there representing both for and against who have spent time in the area and some have worked closely on efforts to bring about peace. I entirely support your right to be disgusted by the motion being proposed and the result, however, please refrain from smearing the name of all students. There are many of us who just wish to get on with their studies, work for each others' welfare and at times get involved with politics on a personal level.
