consider this: if the qassams were to stop tomorrow, would there still be an israeli retaliation? and this: the palestinians have been used as cannon fodder by the arab league for 60 years. but from 1947 to 1967, when they were under fully arab control, there was NEVER any talk of "palestinian independence". why? and from 1967 to 1997, under israeli occupation, the palestinian arabs lived in peace and prosperity, which they don't have now, when 90% of them live under the palestinian authority. the only "occupation" they are under now is by the plo, and every poll shows that the majority (70% or more) still support the attacks against israel. why is it so difficult for arabs to face reality and accept responsibility for their own mistakes?
