All the Jewish population in Israel and abroad should support the people of Sderot. But even if the IDF invade Gaza.don't have unrealistic expectations; Don't overreact to bad news or future terrorist attacks; Do be alert; and Do put aside political differences in order to present a unified front against radical Islam. Maybe now the untenable conditions that the residents of Sderot have been living under will finally get some attention. Thanks to the media, all we ever hear about in this country is how people in Gaza are suffering. Now we'll get to see who the cause of all that suffering really is.

While I agree that there are many people in the entertainment industry who are very generous with both their time and their money, some of the people who are mentioned in this particular endeavor, like John Voigt and Sylvester Stallone, probably wouldn't categorize themselves as liberals. I don't know what Paula Abdul's particular political affiliation is, but being Jewish, that may be her reason for taking part in the concert. In fact, the unfortunate reality is that the majority of Hollywood liberals, many of whom are Jews, don't do nearly as much as they could to support Israel, and I'm saying this as a liberal Democrat myself.
