1. Does NOT say stop all Enrichment

Note in the text quoted below that Russia QUALIFIES its statement to a HEAVY WATER project. A heavy water reactor DOES NOT NEED ENRICHED URANIUM. There were news stories saying Iran is working on making heavy water. A heavy water reactor doesn't need enriched uranium, but it can produce more plutonium for bombs than a light water reactor using enriched uranium. "If Iran in the next few days does not stop the enrichment activities of its heavy water project then yes, Russia ... has taken upon itself certain commitments... to support the resolution that has been drafted in the past month," Churkin told reporters

I think I can see the outlines of what may be happening here. Iran will mothball the heavy water reactor which has been "under construction" for ever and there has been no sigh of progress of its progress either. Then, Russia will not join the sanction crowd and, yet again, the US/Israel axis of losers will be left in the cold. Iran's nuclear energy generation is LEGAL and OPEN. The only way to prevent Iran from completing its nuclear weapon project, which I'm sure it is a screw driver away from based on Iran's publicly stated policy, is to guaranty Iran's security and maintain close inspections of its nuclear facilities. No amount of bullying, military saber rattling and threat of sanctions work with the Iranians.
