What if the Basques were given their space, that is: all Spanish and French people move out of Basqueland and leave everything in the hands of ETA. Because of ETA's past, nor Spain, nor France will allow movement in and across the border of Basqueland happen. ETA is then solely responsible for future steps, which means: 1. seek peaceful matters and open the way for dialogue with Spain and France. 2. continue to bomb inside Spain and France in order to gain more land for Basqueland. Let's say Spain and France would behave like Israel. That is: let daily bombings continue on their soil (as there is only a few times people die due to ETA bombs the international community thinks that is ok) and do nothing. Untill a few deaths later, Spain and France decide to retaliate on Basqueland, because ETA is doing nothing to prevent those bombings on their soil. The international community cries suddenly that innocents are being killed (innocent Spanish and innocent French people are not considerd to be worth mentioning) and that hospitals in Basqueland are having a hard time coping with the injured (among which ETA-militants!). Acting like Israel, Spain and France even decide to supply these Basque hospitals with food, blood units and other medical supplies. All Spain and France is hearing is an international outcry that they are using excessive force and disproportionate tasks. its the world upside down!

But when Jews and Israelis stand up to fight the terrorists who kidnap, stab, murder, blow themselves up just to try to murder us, and maim at every opportunity, suddenly they regain their voice.
