Ynet that is what we want to see. How great of a multi cultural secular wonderfull democratic replubic we are. We realy missed another amazing political correct statement by vladimir Olmert . It must be a very difficult job to write for Ynet, thank G'd for our intulectual free thinking elite. Were would we be without these amazing beacons of light representing this moral conciousness of the free world. We are so lucky with Ynet and Olmert showing us their way to utopia.

who serve in the army. I could NOT agree more. They put their lives on the line for this country. They deserve to be treated EXACTLY the same as any other Israeli citizen. The Druze officer's in the army go through the same training hell as Israeli officer's. They are wonderful soldiers and should be treated as any other citizen.

Those who don't like it, quoting the late Arafat, can go ahead and drink from the Dead Sea (or the Sea of Gaza for that matter). The government must deal justly with the Druze that bleed for the State, but those thugs that rioted in Peki'in must be punished to the Law's full extent; all Jewish families that left must be returned there and offered a safe environment to live in.

Druze have been serving in the IDF since the country was established. It took the establishment 60 years to admit of institutionalized racial discrimination against non jews. At least now do somethign about it...

"Among the Christian respondents, 24% said they defined themselves as "Arab-Palestinians", 24% referred to themselves as "Arab-Israelis" and an equal number of respondents said they considered themselves "Christian-Israelis". " That makes almost 50% of the Christian Arabs who clearly identify themselves as Israelis, despite the propaganda from Bishara.
