1. Since '67 you say?
rachel ,   chutz 4 now   (03.06.08)
So.....BEFORE '67 it was the same as NOW? Hummmmm, doesn't take a genius to figure this out. When the Arab brothers control it is BAD.
2. Send to Amnesty pictures and reports of the lives of Jews
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (03.06.08)

Can the world understand that is Fataj Hamas problem Not israel problem. Open the door and let Fataj attack gaza. If not, the EU is so concern let EU invade Gaza. The Kazzams should stop. Isral should keep doing what is doing. Don't invade Gaza!

The anti-Semitic worldview, generally speaking, is fantastically stupid. The Responsbility of the poverty in Gaza is on the SHOULDER OF THE TERRORIST HAMAS AND FATAH ! 6. On the human rights subject, how about a report now on the
Ron Day ,   Canada   (03.06.08)
Southern Israeli victims of Hamas aggression. And especially one on the Sderot residents, about half of whom were terrorized out of their homes and forced to relocate elsewhere. And the other half who desparately want to leave but cannot.
7. When Hamas cried wolf
Moriah ,   sacramento,USA   (03.06.08)
No-body but the dimmest tools believe this headline. Everything down to the strategically empty shop, look planned. Everything is calculated propaganda. It's too bad because I'm sure some of these kids wouldn't mind having lunch rather than being trotted out barefoot and empty stomached. There isn't anything occurring spontaneously in Gaza. It's all for the camera and the photo op- for the soft headed Euro - trash antisemites with press passes.
8. Liers - the same picture was printed when Gazans broke to
Alex ,   Moscow   (03.06.08)
Egypt. Just that time script spelled “Empty Beduin shop in Egypt’s Rafah”. Just curious: is it possible to send this photo to Guinness as “Most reusable photo in the World”
9. Intriguingly enough
Danny   (03.06.08)
the world bank released a report of how over a third of phillipinos live on less than a dollar a day. Must have missed the Amnesty report on that....
10. Hummm... Who voted Hamas to power?
post 1945 Jew ,   IL   (03.06.08)
Who is firing kassam and grad missiles into Israel? Who is declaring day and night " we are all martyrs until we liberate Eretz Israel ( would be palestine) from the river to the sea? Look amenesty international; before 1935 there was no internet. It was hard to convey our message. Thanks to Ynet the task is much easier. So let me tell you amnesty international: Go and find a day job! You murdered us, stole our businesses and property. You stole our money and it did not make you more clever. You spent the money you stole from us and you are still bloody stupid. So befriend us and learn how we do things right. How we own Holywood and 1/3 of all intellectual property on the planet. How our names are filling up all the spaces in Drs, dentists and lawyers' registers, here, in the US or in France. This time around we won't let you take us to gas chambers. You are suffering from anti Jewish blindness. Tell your arab friends to recognise us and stop harassing Israel, instead of constantly ploting against us. Thanks Ynet. I know this is no political language, but this is all amnesty's brain can understand. Am Israel Hai! we are here to stay and become light to other nations.
11. EXERT PRESSURE ON HAMAS
robin ,   Israel   (03.06.08)
12. gaza
colin   (03.06.08)
Finally the amnesty International have seen what the hamas is. While Israel was ruling in gaza all was good. They had food ,they has medicine.school were fully operated.NOW HAMAS IS IN CHARGE AND THINGS ARE THE WORST SINCE 1976. Suggest that amnesty beg Israel to give a bit if advice how to aid these poor self elected hamas.
13. Israel is the real criminal and must be punished
David   (03.06.08)
14. Usual uneducated nonsense
Danny   (03.06.08)
I assume you have to have an IQ in single figures to work for Amnesty. Food prices up - guess what, that's the case for the rest of the world. Here's a quick look at Wheat futures over the last year: http://cbotdataexchange.if5.com/DataEOD_F_Chart.aspx?symbol=W/F.CBOT Hmm, seems that prices have risen by MORE than 30%. Maybe more luck with rice: http://cbotdataexchange.if5.com/DataEOD_F_Chart.aspx?symbol=RR/F.CBOT Nope. Palestinians spend 2/3 of their income on food? So do most other people - transportation, housing and food being people's greatest after tax expenses. If Gaza were a state, then it's earnings would put it above 50 odd other countries - which Amnesty ISN'T writing about. Note they are talking about "earnings", most Palestinians live off what is the most generous per capita aid budget in the world. Note that 18.5% rejected for treatment in Israel - a place their elected government is shelling on daily basis - means that over 80% are accepted. I wonder how many Israelis get accepted for free medical treatment in the UK? As for the 20 who died awaiting a permit, they were terminal cases who probably would have died even if they got to Israel. It's the usual anti-Israeli fraud.
15. Congrats Hamas
J K ,   NYC, USA   (03.06.08)
You managed to bring the strip back about 1400 years to the time of Muhammed. Please enjoy the prosperity of your rocket based economy. Obviously food and basic services are not part of the equation that will bring Gaza to the future. Please enjoy your stroll down memory lane...good luck to you and all your citizens.
16. And Hamas and the pals who support them have only themselves
jared ,   orlando   (03.06.08)
blame. This is what happens when a terror organization, whose chief priority is the destruction of israel and the killing if israelis, rather than the development of infrastructure and the welfare of pals, comes to power. They hate the jews ever so much more than they love themselves or each other, and that will be their undoing, not the israelis
17. What do you expect!?
stuart ,   ny,ny USA   (03.06.08)
I don't understand these type of articles from Israeli news.........What do you expect in a war where hostile terrorists fire rockets at your innocent populations!?How do you think it would work out!.....you are only playing into the terrorist pshyc games we pound them, leave and they call it a victory?
18. How about working!
David   (03.06.08)
If Gazans were not getting aid but were forced to work like the rest of the world they wouldn't have time to burn flags and hit Israel with kassams. Let them repair those Israeli green houses and grow vegetables. Why don't the NGO-s press Hamas to stop harassing Israel? Their situation would improve immediately.
19. Posed pictures
Malone ,   Hfx   (03.06.08)
Funny how we always see pictures of cute pal kids(not starved looking),to show the miserys of the poor pals. Do we ever see any pictures ofthe terrorized little kids in Sderot/Ashkelon..I've never seen a one. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and I believe that the intl. community looks at these pose pictures of the little pal kids, and reach for the kleenex box. The media is running this show,Hamas is playing to it,and Israels PR policy is lacking. Get with it Olmert, you idiot!!
20. crisis?
michael ,   san francisco,us.   (03.06.08)
Right, but they have plently of dough for bombs and guns.....
21. Delouse them with mustard gas!
Dan Goldman ,   Sderot, Israel   (03.06.08)
If it won't help, use Agent Orange. They deserve it!
22. pressure hamas not Israel
yoni ,   USA   (03.06.08)
The best way to get Israel to immediately end the "blockade" and "crisis" in gaza is for hamas to recognize Israel and give up terror. Why is no person or organization pressuring hamas to end the humanitarian crisis by that route?
23. But they can get rockets and weapons....
Andrew ,   USA   (03.06.08)
Why don't they bring in supplies instead?
24. why am i not breaking down in tears?
david ,   new york   (03.06.08)
somehow, i don't feel a lot of sympathy for the arabs in gaza.
25. Ammnesty is correct
super cholo ,   maitland USA   (03.06.08)
The situation in Gaza is bad thanks to Hamas not to Israel Hamas is the responsible of all the crisis not Israel. The consequenseces of the violence are a responsability of whom ever starts the violence. Israel supplies electricity food and medical care. Ammensty is always on the wrong side, in reference to Israel and to everywhere else in te world
26. A Simple Cure To Gaza's Woes
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (03.06.08)
1. Accept in principle, Israel's right to exist. 2. Adhere to signed agreements. 3. Cease all forms of terror and violence. 4. Follow the demands of the international community, i.e. UN, EU, US and Russia. Which part of that do the Gaza Goons fail to understand?
27. human rights groups claims
Herschel ,   Southfield, MI USA   (03.06.08)
"Israeli blockade on Gaza caused situation"...Thousands of rockets sent to IL resedential areas actualy is the cause. Give em 48 hours to get out then blow the terrorists away, once and for all. BE"H.
28. As long as they choose war, they accept consequences
Raymond from DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (03.06.08)
Are a million Gazans at the mercy of a few thousand Hamas thugs? The same thugs they elected knowing they would be making war on their neighbor? Let them go into their streets and say - to their own leadership, not to Israel - enough. Gazans must lay down their arms, cease attacks against Israel, and sue for peace. The gates will open, the aid will flow, and Gazans can get on with their lives. But as long as they choose war, they can live with the consequences.
29. The Circle of Life
Bet Chesed ,   Galut   (03.06.08)
"Palestinians" put themselves in this wretched state back when the state of Israel was formed, when they refused to share land, that they had taken by force years before. Now they are worsening their wretched state by fighting against Hashem's people once again. They need to learn to share.
30. Amnesty International-the dumbest and most vile organization
Phil ,   US   (03.06.08)
I have 2 solutions to ending the problems in Gaza. 1. Let Hamas stop the terror against Israel. Let them stop the rocket fire against Israeli towns. There would be no more Israeli raids that target terrorists if there was no terrorism. I know that the morons and bigots in Amnesty International don't think that killing Jews matter--especially when the IDF kills more Palestinians in defense of Sderot. Since Israel suffers less deaths, that means, to the idiots and bigoted leftists in AI that Israel must be at fault. Can you imagine the outrage from AI after the US killed just about the entire Japanese garrison on Iwo Jima? After all, far fewer Americans died so the US must have been using disproportionate force. 2. Oil is now $105 dollars a barrel. Let the Arab oil producers and the nut, Chavez support the gazans by giving them 1% of the oil profits. Voila! No poverty. Unless of course, the government buys more weapons and builds new villas for its leaders instead of helping the population.
