1. McCain
Ezra Soleymani ,   skokie IL   (03.09.08)
Good for him
2. Obama/Hillary vs. McCain in relation to Israel?
Cameron ,   USA   (03.09.08)
A 10ft.-high question mark or a sure bet for Israel? Who do you favor?
3. Ask him if he wants Jerusalem divided. That will tell you
Rivkah   (03.09.08)
if he is a peace candidate or a war candidate. Dividing Jerusalem will lead to more wars. The bible says to pray for peace in Jerusalem because if there is peace in Jerusalem there will be peace in the world. Dividing Jerusalem will NOT lead to peace. It is God's land and He will not tolerate dividing it without the consequence of ending Gentile world rule seven years later.
4. Obama's Church
David ,   Rhode Island   (03.09.08)
Obama's church honored Louis Farrakhan, of the Nation of Islam, who said Judaism a was a "gutter religion" and a number of other things.
5. Re: Obama's Church
NYC Girl   (03.09.08)
Also, the pastor of that church has shown a very disturbing pattern of behavior in other respects, such as supporting a boycott of Israel. And in view of the ongoing violence and horrific loss of life taking place in parts of Africa, and since this is a very Afro-centric church, one can't help but wonder why Rev. Wright has suddenly gotten his knickers in a wad where Israel is concerned.
6. vote mccain! he's the THE man!

7. If McCain wants to attract Jewish votes,
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.09.08)
then why is he going to meet with Israel's three biggest enemies, the three stooges? He should tell them that they are the cause of our problems, not the solution. How about selling us the F-22?
8. PRO ISRAEL ?
Saftala ,   Israel   (03.09.08)
If McCain wants to prove that he is pro Israel, let him announce when in Jerusalem, that he will upon election, immediately move the American embassy to Jerusalem and that an undivided Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel forever. Anything less is just spin!
9. Why he is doing this
Rami   (03.09.08)
He was forced to distance himself from Hagee, on an intra-Christian controversy, Hagee of course being Israel's biggest supporter in the States, and now he is going to make clear that in spite of this controversy, he is still a 100% supporter of Israel. I'm skeptical on all of them after Bush an alleged supporter gave BILLIONS of dollars to the so-called "Palestinians".

12. No doubt who will be the next prezident of USA
i am ,   from here   (03.09.08)
Welcome to Israel Mr. next president of the USA. Welcome to Israel Mr. McCain. Who doesn't know that Obama will not be chosen? Everyone does.

israel ,   israel   (03.09.08)
There are nothing to choose. McCain vs. Obama. Israel for Mister McCain! :))
14. to #8 McCain wants nothing.
israeli ,   from israel   (03.09.08)
The question is whom do YOU want to see as a next president of US? Mr. Obama? Mr. McCain? Make your chose.
15. #8 - Bush said exactly that
AT   (03.09.08)
what good did it do?
16. John McCain for President!
Aaron ,   ra'anana   (03.09.08)
John McCain will be a great president for the United States. John McCain will not placate dictators and terrorists and will protect freedom and democracy in the USA and across the globe! By aggressively combating Islamic terror in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, he will be far more supportive of Israel than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
17. Re#3 & #8
Christy ,   Boston, US   (03.09.08)
#3 - Rivkah: Good Point! I'd also like to know where ALL the candidates stand regarding the division of Jerusalem. I'd also like to know who among them has the guts to scrap the so-called 'road map to peace', which seems more like a road-map for Israel's surrender! #8 - Saftala: Also a good point! Relocating our US Embassy to Jerusalem would be a fantastic idea. I wonder which candidate would even consider this? -- I'm not sure McCain is just looking for Jewish voters. He needs ALL supporters of Israel, Christians & Jews, to be on his side if he wants to win. I'd like to know, specifically, what each candidate thinks about the failed road-map to peace, the division of Jerusalem, the giving away of more Israeli land, etc.. The appeasement approach that has been urged onto Israel by past administrations has NOT worked. Something else must be tried.

AB ,   jerusalem   (03.09.08)
99.9% agree with you. 0.1 % of that I do not know for sure.
19. #7
israeli ,   israel   (03.09.08)
The paradox is that both McCain and Jews need support of each other: McCain wants to be president and on the other hand, Jews don't want to see Obama as an "Israeli friend". So, you would be advised to be a little more kind towards the next ruler of the World. =)
20. #2, Cameron, my 10ft. answer is we
(03.09.08)
favour anyone who the American people vote for and who favours Israel.
21. McCAIN 4 PREZ!!
E.S. ,   Montreal Canada   (03.09.08)
McCain. He's not only the best choice for Israel, he's also the best choice for the US. How can someone be jewish and support Obama? Barack Hussein Obama is supported by so many Israel and Jewish haters, this is crazy. Open your eyes people.
22. James Baker "f.. the Jews" as an envoy to Israel
Gaby ,   Boston, usa   (03.09.08)
Was promised by Mr. McCain "to aggressively push for peace". Of course, democrats are even worse... But before voting for him or making any campaign contributions I'll be watching his attitude towards Israel very closely. My first test is to see if he is going to meet Natanyahu.
23. 17 Christy: Hillary Clinton said she is against dividing Jer
Rivkah   (03.09.08)
Jerusalem. There are problems in American foreign policy when the behind the scenes reality is that American is deeply in debt to Red China and to the Moslems. Some say the golden rule is "He who has the gold, rules". So Jerusalem will be divided and Gentile world rule will end seven years later since the other factors of the covenant with death in the book of Daniel in the Bible have been accomplished: the Resolution 666 was confirmed for seven years by the New ENPI in 2007. What Israel now faces are wars and the loss of two thirds of its population in Israel, as well as the loss of more than two thirds of the world population and then the final battle that ends Gentile world rule: Armageddon and the coming of the Jewish Messiah when the third of the Jews who have fled to Petra for three and a half years call on the name of the Jewish Messiah. It is the name that is the key. They must call on his name, not a title.
24. 8 Saffala: When part of Jerusalem is recognized as belonging
Rivkah   (03.09.08)
to Israel and international recognition is given to Jerusalem as Israel's capital when it is divided, that will signal the last seven years of Gentile world rule. The covenant with death was probably the confirmation of Resolution 666 by the New ENPI in 2007. Dividing Jerusalem and moving the Embassy there are the last tacks in the coffin that signal the coming end of Gentile world rule. Israel and the world will then suffer wars that are worse than has ever been.
25. Jerusalemis the peace choice of Israel
(03.09.08)
Not any american president , you know all in Israel that East Jerusalem is the key to have peace ... so it's up to you not to any American President .
26. Jewish Democrats for McCain
GZLives   (03.09.08)
Although still a Democrat, unless I hear one of our candidates clearly denounce the rabid anti semitism within the Democratic Party I will be casting my vote for McCain and I expect every Jew to do the same. Democrats are still ducking the entire issue trying not to alienate the far Left within the Party who believe like the Nazis did, that everything is the fault of the Jews - or as they say, the Zionists or neocons which are all code for Jews.
27. Payback
guy ,   los angeles   (03.09.08)
Israel will be blamed if Obama loses and if he wins no one knows what will happen---it takes too much effort to fight the terrorists and many Americans don't care ---9/11 is long ago and far away...Right now the Recession is the main worry and the Republicans can't cure this...
28. #27 Many Dems Blame Israel for 9/11
GZLives   (03.09.08)
or believe Mossad played a large part and as I've previously said, unless Dems address these claims by their people and clearly chastise those who continue to make them and those claims that Iraq is a war being fought FOR Israel and the Jewish Lobby, Jews should and will stay away from Obama or Clinton.
29. McCain/Huckabee ticket
Judah ,   Golan Heights,Israel   (03.09.08)
Probally just wishful thinking yet it would be good for Israel.
30. Gaby, 22, I agree.
Ari   (03.09.08)
I agree that he needs to be looked at more closely, although I think I will vote for him. I remember the James "F the Jews" Baker quote, when he said he'd send baker to Israel. Baker is a piece of anti-semitic scum, so that worries me. And yes, whether he meets with Bibi is very important, since Livni/Kadima/Barak/Labor will not be running the next government, the Likud will. On an interesting side note, Olmert tried to block Bibi's meeting with Prez Bush when he visited and failed, and I will assume he'll try to pull the same thing again with McCain, and fail again to block that meeting. That meeting may set the tone for what a McCain Presidency-Netanyahu Premiership will be like, which makes it very important.
