They won't let you remember!
33. Obama's duplicity
Abel Shoni ,   France   (03.13.08)
“If Senator Obama supports Ralph Nader’s policies, which consistently condemn Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism, and if Sen. Obama has only reversed his positions to run for president, it once again raises serious questions about his grasp of the geo-political realities of the Middle East and puts into doubt his commitment to the safety and security of Israel.” Political Mavens - http://politicalmavens.com
34. Nobama
Scott ,   Los Angeles   (03.13.08)
By the look of the talkback, it would seem (thank goodness), that you are indeed naive. As for Kennedy, he did not wear the halo many people think he wore.
35. Barak Hussein Obama
M.P. O'Loughlin ,   Minnesota, USA   (03.14.08)
B. Hussein Obama is not the next John Kennedy. Kennedy did not go to a church that gave Muslim leader Louis Farrakan a lifetime achievment award, avows black separatism, and cheered our disaster on Sept 11, 2001. Mr. Obama does this, and more. The Muslim school he attended as a child is never talked about, be careful what you wish for Israel.
36. Barak's preacher CONDEMNS AMERICA and WHITES in this video..
Rivkah   (03.14.08)
Go to: http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=58818 You will listen to Reverend Wright, Barak Hussein Obama's preacher for the church Obama has belonged to for TWENTY YEARS attack America and White people like they are they enemies of the Black people when in fact the Blacks and other minorities have been given preference in hiring and getting into colleges for many DECADES under AFFIRMATIVE ACTION LAWS that degrade ability in favor of skin color. My niece Tamara Bill of Orange County California wanted to be a nurse and had good grades, but was told at Fresno State University that there were NO PLACES for WHITE people in the nursing college there. The few there were were taken already and the seats would go empty rather than to assign them to Whites if more coloreds did not apply. University of California at Irvine is so hostile to accepting White students, it is called the University of Chinese Immigrants (UCI) in the community.
37. the last digits should be 58817 of the web site, not 18.

The web address should be, but was not printed correctly on the tb: http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=58817
38. Oh! I get it now! For a minute there you almost had me.

You shouldn't be so cynical. Someone may actually believe what you've written.

41. US will become a third world country..
(03.14.08)
with a Chavez-like president. All the Obama talk remember me Chavez talk before he won elections
42. #40, Hartley, fantastic video. thanks.
Baruch ,   Boston, USA   (03.14.08)
43. JFK
Toby ,   Israel   (03.15.08)
JKF served only 3.5 years as president. His legend is certainly greater than his presidency. He got is into the war in Vietnam, the Bay of Pigs disaster and it was Johnson who really got the Civil Rights laws changed. Kennedy was young, handsome and had a beasutiful family, but was he really a great president?
44. Wow, this article
Tim ,   NY, USA   (03.20.08)
sure has gotten a paranoid response. Obama is intelligent, pragmatic, and diplomatic, all qualities which have been sorely lacking in the US over the last 8 years.
45. Thank You!
Fuku Foster ,   Long Island, U.S.A.   (03.20.08)
As a mother of a Eurasian 15 year son who has been absorbed in this election and concerned about it's impact and connection with the rest of the world, I thank you for your penetrating, compassionate insights expressed in this article: "Giving Hope to the World." Your words give this wary mother hope!
46. Thank you
Susettef ,   Los Angeles, USA   (03.20.08)
It isn't easy for right thinking white people these days to voice such an opinion. Thank you for being fearless, and expanding this dialogue. Your words are on point.
47. MOST JEWS ARE LIBERAL
Jew for Obama ,   Bloomington, IN   (03.20.08)
IT IS NOT A WEAKNESS TO TALK TO LEADERS. IT IS AS GOOD FOR ISRAEL AS THE IRAQ WAR WAS BAD!
48. Jim Brown of Tennessee
Greer Mansfield ,   Atlanta, USA   (03.20.08)
Jimmy Brown of Tennessee, what an insightful comment! You really do put a lot of thought and research into your comments, don't you? I mean, it's obvious that Obama is a Muslim, what with this flap over this Christian minister and everything. Why take the time to look up information on the Internet to determine whether or not Obama is really a Muslim when you can just absorb everything you get in your email inbox like a sponge and repeat it ad nauseum on the Internet? You really must be a brilliant man.
49. Giving Hope to the World
Jim Smyers ,   Beaverdam, VA, USA   (03.20.08)
Oh Brother! What a squishy piece of crap that piece was. Obama is a fraud and finally that is coming out. He's a closet racist and hates whites and the jews. Get current on the facts, Mr. Moria.
50. Such venomous anti-Obama-ism
walkman666 ,   NYC, USA   (03.20.08)
Wow, in reading these comments about this article, this is a very anti-Obama crowd: "anti-christ," "sharia law," "Hussein." What's up with the bigotry? First, he's not running to be the PM of Israel. Second, I don't think he intends to sell Israel out (why would he?...cos his middle name is Hussein?). Third, his MO is try clearly try to defuse divisiveness and hatred...do you see a continuation of Bush policies as a potential solution? Will the conflict never end? Obama should not and will not force Israel to give, give, give, but he will make a sincere attempt to broker peace instead of waiting until his potential 8th year to even visit the region. You can either attempt to strive for something higher, or shrink back into comfortable fear and hate.
51. Israel is a DIRTY WORD
Mike ,   Tulsa, USA   (03.20.08)
according to Obama's church, Israel is a "dirty word", heck, he even stuck around for them to give Louis Farackahn a medal!
52. Obama
jacob Jorne ,   Rochester, NY   (03.20.08)
Obama not OyBama: Thank you Igal Moria for the wonderfully written article about what Obam means to the world. I could not have expressed my feelings (yes feelings, Obama is beyond politics) better. I also recall the election of John Kennedy as a monumental event of my childhood, and his assassination a vry sd and personl loss. It is the same feeling I felt when Hungary lost to Germany in the world cup in 1954. It was beyond sport or politics. Obama is an extraordinary person. He should not be judged by the whole and not by whether he is good for the settlements or not. He might disappoint us, I hope not, but this is the educated risk we must take. Just compare: Obama vs. McCain and Joe Liberman (pathetic). Obama was right to say that Bill clinton's prsidency was a waste of great opportunity. Bill clinton will not pass the test of history. He will be an obscure president. This shows that Obama is reaching for much more, like JFK, FDR and Lincoln. The world is holding fingers in hope.
53. Reason vs ignorance
The future ,   MA, USA   (03.20.08)
In response to this thoughtful article I see a lot of bigotry and ignorance. Are the readers of this site really so frightened, irrational, and ill-informed? If so, Mr. Moria, thank you for shining some light on this corner of the internet. There are valid reasons to support Obama. There are valid reasons to oppose him. But for many of the posters here myth trumps fact and fear trumps reason. Obama might not win the election. But the fact that so many younger Americans have overcome fear and vote with their heads makes me hopeful for the future of America, Israel, and the world.
54. Giving Hope To the World
Lynne Forrest ,   Winnipeg Canada   (03.21.08)
I am a Canadian living next door to the U.S. all my life. I'll never forget the day President Kennedy was assassinated. It took me many months to get over it. If I ever did. I've loved the U.S. and sometimes found it hard to believe it wasn't my country too. I'm proud to be a Canadian, and I have always wanted to remain a Canadian, but our next door neighbour has offered me so much throughout my life, as the article says ideas, products, people and for me also all the wonderful movies and entertainers. This article says it all for me. I have watched a country I love do terrible terrible things - things I thought were things only the Hitlers and Castros were capable of. I've wondered why I feel such emotion for Barack Obama, and I think like the author of this article I feel hope again that the country I love can once again be all it is meant to be. Thank you for this wonderful article and I will pray that the Americans will do the right thing because this is a chance I feel they must not pass up. I fear those on the right are not finished with Obama yet, and will do everything in their power, stoop to any level to keep him from getting the presidency. I even fear for Obama's life. I pray too that this time the American people will see the smears and hate for what it is, and repel it at long last.

56. Igal Moria's Error
Jill ,   Shaker Heights, U.S.   (04.04.08)
I'm guilty of false assumptions, too. It seemed to me impossible that a Jew could parrot the phrase Obama himself credits to his pastor of 20 years. So Igal you are really quoting Reverend Wright, whom Obama has put on his campaign staff as "advisor and mentor". The source of the rhetoric that you have taken into your own mouth has some more "nuggets" you might want to assimilate. Let's see, shall we? "We (the United States) have supported State terrorism against the Palestinians....and now we are indignant, because the stuff we have done overseas has come back into our own front yard." He gave Louis Farrakhan, nation of Islam leader, the "Rev. Dr. J eremiah A. Wright, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Trumpeteer Award" last December, a man Obama's Mentor says "truly epitomized greatness." . Among Farrakhan's "great" quotes, "Judaism is a gutter religion", "The Synagogue of Satan", "Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government and our boys and girls are dying in Iraq and in Afghanistan for the cause of Israel", "Hitler was a great man".... oh and so many more comments of hatred against Israel and Whites in America. Mr. Moria, I urge you to dig deeper into what Obama's past says about him and not he himself, look at the man who married him and baptized his children. All you've done is fall for the trite marketing slogans of someone who hates Israel, the Jews, and Whites in America. God bless Israel!!!
