2. Olmert says, "Get used to it ...."
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (03.18.08)
I can't get that line out of my head. As the daily incidents multiply, that statement by Olmert just keeps running through my mind. "Just get used to it" "We can't do anything about it" Well, I can't get used to it. I don't think anyone should "get used to it" - whatever it takes, whatever actions, no matter the consequences, doing nothing is not the answer. You know what I can't get used to? Olmert.
3. Nationalist motives? U MEAN TERRORISM??
trumpeldor ,   eurabia   (03.18.08)
here we go again with the same leftist semantics from ynet...
4. #2 perfectly true
(03.18.08)
olmert MUST go!
5. palestinian anger always results in blood spilled
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (03.18.08)
both sides get angry in this conflict, passions are inevitably high. but anyone ever notice that palestinian heated passions go hand-in-hand with bloody death (or as in this case, we are grateful for palestinian incompetence) while jewish anger/mob scenes are exceptionally tame in comparison? say whatever you want but you can't compare the two, unless you are prepared to admit the truth that one side is consistently more barbaric than the other.
6. What the hell are nationalistic motives?
Adam ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.18.08)
7. Palestinians aren't "nationalistic"
Nate   (03.18.08)
If they wanted a state like they claim, they'd have had it a long time ago. They want to kill Jews instead, which is why you see posters praising their shaheed boys who killed children, having very little (if any) mention of the Palestinian state or sight of the Palestinian flag (only the flags of terrorist organizations). Besides, why don't the Palestinians have a peace movement, or even a responsible political party? This has nothing to do with anything "nationalistic", unless their purpose for a state is based on the blood and graves of Jews. Just be honest about it and call it "genocidal motives" then. "Nationalism" is further down the list of motives and priorities. Way down.
8. CONFUSED JOURNALISM
YITZHAK COHEN ,   Kiriat Gat Israel   (03.18.08)
"Nationalistic motives?" The only nation in Jerusalem is Israel! Your journalist is totally off-track . Say it like it is and say that it was an Arab: are you scared that murderers have no place in Israel? WHERE ARE YOU MR. CENSOR - CAN'T YOU SEE THE FIFTH COLUMN IN OPERATION?
9. Israel is for Jews.
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (03.18.08)
If arabs ,and others, agree or disagree,it should not matter at all, because this IS Israel. The only nationalistic movement in Israel can be that of Jews,no one else. Or Israel decides to act coherently by SUPRESSING arabs manifestations and punishing hardly those (their families, their community)commiting such acts in our land,or we will live always in this anormal situation, untill things reach an umbearable point. Arabs don't have the democratic thought Israel has-they are working against Jews and against Israel using our liberty. Is that so difficult to understand already? And these exclusively arab towns all over Israel are another big threat. Israel should encourage Jewish presence inclusively there. Or we go there,or they will infiltrate more and more, speacialy by men having two or more wifes ,what should be FORBIDEN in Israel.
10. To 1, exactly & .. .

13. To Mike number 5..
Palestinian   (03.18.08)
While I disagree with what happened in Jerusalem, I just want to remind you that 400 Palestinian died in the last two months!
14. here is the actual motive;
observer   (03.18.08)
Rabbi endorses revenge for the Yeshiva attack: http://www.ynet.co.il/english/articles/0,7340,L-3518000,00.html >>what else can motivate them to stab a rabbi except that rabbinical fatwa. >>what else can make them recognize the rabbinical features of the man except his rabbinical dress and hair. >>what else can make them risk rabbi's life and their own lives except a rabbinical endorsement
15. 13 - 400 terrorists and their human shields
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (03.18.08)
and the human shields, be they willing or not, do not seem to mind one bit because i have neither seen nor heard any condemnation of the practice. it's their strategy and they are happy with it (you know, the old "we love death..." routine). they don't complain about it so why should we?
16. Let me guess: "this will not forestall peace talks"
LEE ,   NY, USA   (03.18.08)
This is the reaction we can expect from the weakest leaders this nation has ever seen. The Greenwald family has asked that people pray for Rabbi Yechezkel ben [son of] Zahava.
17. observer #12
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (03.19.08)
Two or more wives can make too much babies who will desire to infiltrate Israel as their parents alraedy do.
