1. Shame on you, MacCain!!!!
David ,   NY-USA   (03.19.08)
You are using the pain of Sederot kids for elections? SHAME on YOU. Is this the American democracy and justice you are trying to bring? Why did not you meet with Abbas? Isn't he the peace supporter, hasn't he been elected by his people? Or he does not have powerful supporters in the USA in America? Shame in you man, you are willing to do anything to be the new president????? You'll never be, Obama will be the first African American President even withour visiting Israel.
2. OH OH That's not good
Zippy   (03.19.08)
Any half brain can see it is exactly the "piece process" that has created this murder and terror experienced by Sderot and other cities. The answer should be by McCain and Lieberman---NO MORE PEACE TALKS. They would never continue to "talk" to any country that fired rockets at them daily for YEARS!! Israel, yet again, the USA and the world tells you---you are alone in your struggle and expect you to behave without self preservation. Only the Jews--the rest of the world would have the right to impose total victory and surrender on their enemies. And again, like hypnotized puppies will you go along with the McCain crowd too?. End this fiasco once and for all. Pay all the palis to move with the tax dollars collected. Benny Elon has a great plan. Do it now!!! Before there is nothing left to save. Maybe when, not if, Tel Aviv is finally attacked with rockets, Israel will finally end the oslo suicide accords?
3. THE PICTURE...........................................
REGINA ROTHBEIN   (03.19.08)
THE THREE STOOGES ? OR THREE OF THE SEVEN DWARFS; DOPEY,MOPY, & STUPID ?
4. Leiberman
Mike ,   Jerusalem   (03.19.08)
If Lieberman is such a super Jew and claims to be Orthodox, where is his Kippah? I can understand him being afraid or ashamed to wear it in America, but here in Israel?????
5. Remarks by David of NY re: McCain
Nate ,   USA   (03.19.08)
I'm glad that McCain went to the Kotel, and Yad Vashem, and that he wore a skull cap at each location. As far as Obama being the next President, forget about it. As long as Obama supports Jermiah Wright, either directly or indirectly, he will never, never, get elected. Last, why should McCain meet with Abbas? What has Abbas done to quell the lunatics on the West Bank? He is a very weak leader.
6. the elders said it
observer   (03.19.08)
Greenbaum's famous words were, "One cow in Palestine is worth more than a whole village of Jews in Europe." But where in Palestine, the cow in Tel Aviv worth a whole Sderot. Dragging the issues surrounding the Zionist state into American politics and constantly focusing on the Jews is counter-productive. It fuels anti-Semitism, furthers conflicts, and creates a potential danger to Jews worldwide.
7. THE US PRIMARIES HAVE BEEN A SHAME
stude ham   (03.19.08)
Because they've focused so much on race and ethnicity... and not the major disasters which the bush people have inflicted geopolitically and economically on this world. in particular, mccain in looking so pro-israel is actually trying to coverup the iraq and afghanistan debacles, the economic meltdown from the ABCP scandals, and the horrendously huge deficit racked up by his incompetent republican masters. mccain... go home!!
8. David
marty ,   us   (03.19.08)
You ask why McCain doesn't visit Abbas. I ask, why don't you follow the news before asking stupid questions. McCain met with Abbas yesterday.
9. Has McCain asked Abbas his vision of peace?
Sam ,   Canada   (03.19.08)
Abbas has said that he rejects Israel as the Jewish state. Why doesn't McCain or any Western leader press Abbas on this? What kind of peace process do they expect Israel to engage in when the Abbas vision is 2 Palestinian Moslem states? Neither Abbas nor Hamas has any credibility engaging in a PEACE process.
10. McCain..How about, no negotiations under rocket fire!
BJL ,   usa   (03.19.08)
11. How about negotiating with Bin Laden & Al Qaeda?

LK ,   LA-USA   (03.20.08)
If Arizona got rocket attacks every day you can be sure after the third it would be the end of who ever is shooting those rockets. McCain even said so. Why Israel,do take all that shit. You are damn if you do and damn if you don't,but not damn by God.
15. President John McCain

16. No surprise... McCain is a liberal...
Mark Kleiman ,   Florida, USA   (03.20.08)
Appreciate President Bush and Condi Rice while you have them. They may talk about the "piece" process... liberals aim to enforce it, no matter how bad the outcome. Also liberals will always blame Israel for the inevitable failure :(
17. Bravo! Sen. McCain, you've got my vote!
JewishPeaceForum ,   USA   (03.20.08)
You have a clear-headed assessment of the situation instead of fuzzy wishful thinking displayed by David in NY and most of the Democratic Party. We need reliable, thoughtful, experienced decision-makers in the White House, not charismatic charlatans this/close to Jew-haters like Rev. Wright and Imam Farakhan. Bravo to you, Sir.
18. Living in Sderot.
Jean Van Daem   (03.20.08)
In order to live in Sderot these days, you should not only be an idealist but also have a lot of courage. What is the government waiting for ? The “innocent civilians” of Gaza should not keep the armee from destroying the terrorists. It is a miracle that there were not more victims until today. Qassam rockets are being launched daily on Sderot but the habitant of Sderot do not abandon their town, they try to go on in a daily routine life. We can only admire these people …and this situation is going on since several years as describe at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/01/stop-them-with-clear-cut-victory-part-i.html
19. 2 sides to this story
Human Being ,   United States   (07.19.08)
Typical of why U.S. policy toward Israel/Palestine is so grossly distorted. McCain, Lieberman and Graham see only the Israeli as human beings. What about the horrific oppression that occurs on the other side of that wall that leads some (very few) desperate Palestinians (whose families' lands were stolen, after all) to fire the rockets in the first place? The bulldozed houses, the flattened communities, the human shields? And on and on. This is a conflict over land and dispossession. The Palestinians' hands are not all clean in this, but neither are the Isrealis. Too bad almost no one in America sees that.
