I agree with Udi Lebel. In the US a speaker of Netanyahu’s caliber gets $50,000 per lecture plus all expenses paid. Considering today’s prices, a better suite in New York costs more that $1,500 per night. In view of a dismal PR job by the costly Israeli consulates and other representatives Netanyahu’s visit to London was a bargain.

Unfortunately, the left and the anti-Likud will damage Israel's national Interest just out of spite, and will use any opportunity to attack Netanyahu.

Our government should realise that PR is the name of the game, and that when facing a common enemy party lines mean nothing. In addition I think that there should have been more outrage at the fabrication of news that made it into the mainstream media without a blink. The word Pallywood should be as much a part of the Middle East political lexicon as Hamas. It is that much a part of the PR problem. Heck, we're still fighting the age old blood libel. Major media organisations here are very biased and are turning the British people and state againt Israel. Bibi did an excellent job to stem this tide in difficult circumstances. It will be very unfortunate if he and other leading Israeli speakers are deterred from similar efforts in future. The next time Israel needs further bombs during a war we may find that they can't be transported via British airports.
