Roy c. Hudson ,   Pittsburg USA   (03.26.08)
In my opinion, no Jew in his right mind if he had one, would line up with Obams. He has priven he is a lier. the same as Hillery, how could they be trusted with the USA Nuke box.. nowing nothing about the ways of Way. Hillery is in it to be the first woman in History. All the most all the Black are after the White house with Louis Farrakhan, Jackson Sharpton, leading all the, we shall overcomers. to put down the Jew & the White. Yes this is a Race War for the White House. Daniel;4;17. God said; He sets up & gives it to whomsover He will," the BASEST of Men / / woman. after the GW, Land for peace to the PLO against Israel it really don't matter who gets in,The USA is now on the List. 4. Most Jewish Dems if not every has little or no Judaism
BUSH ,   USA   (03.26.08)
attachment. They don't realize how much damage they will be causing to the Jewish world if a liberal is elected president. Just like prewar Europe all over again only seculars were once pro Hitler or pro stalinists but when something bad happened they cried while the religious suffer again through their misdeeds. It seems that they never learn from their mistakes.
5. Jews for Obama
Steven Ein ,   USA   (03.26.08)
When I ask many of my fellow American Jews about Obama and his "friends," I simply get a "Deer in the headlights" look. It seems that the cognitive dissonance involved with condeming a liberal (Obama), who won't distance himself from Wright, is just too overwhelming. There are times when we are our own worst enemy. Steven Wright is simply quoting Former U.S. ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Muritania, Edward Peck, when he famaously said 'the chickens have come to roost." This left wing tripe has been out there for years. It amazes me that Jews go along, even the moral relitivism anti Israel aspect.
6. Both are anti Jewish
Bernie ,   Seattle WA   (03.26.08)
Obama has such rabid Jew haters like McPeak, Brezinski, Peanut Brain carter, and James F The Jews baker for advisers, and Hillary has been known to use racial epithets slurring Jews and Blacks, and lets not forget how she embraced Suha Arafat after Suha's speech accusing Israel of poisoning the water in Gaza and infecting chewing gum with AIDS virus. Plus Hillary has her "husband" as baggage and we all know how he screwed over Israel with the Wye River Accords and hosted Arafat in the White House so many times!
7. VOTE MACCAIN!!!
miri   (03.26.08)
8. Rami #2, would you like Raed Salah as mayor of Nazareth?
Jake   (03.26.08)
The analogy stands.
9. JEWS FOR OBAMA-CLINTON
Dan ,   USA   (03.26.08)
Why are we Jews always our own worst enemy. A vote for Obama will be among the worst possible things that could happen to the state of Israel and probably to Jews living in America. A vote for Clinton, while not as bad as one for Obama will not advance the cause of Israel because Clinton will spend her time in office trying to win Obama's supporters for the next election. For some strange reason Jews continue to vote overwhelminly for the Democratic party as if Franklin Roosevelt were still alive. As a result we are taken gor granted. A vote for McCain would benefit us all.
10. Dan I would like to paraphrase your statement
BUSH ,   USA   (03.26.08)
from Why are we Jews always our own worst enemy to Why are secular Jews always our own worst enemy. No Torah means no direction. They are lost and they are pulling everyone down with their misdeeds. History all over again
11. Bottom line: Obama is unelectable!
PK ,   Hong Kong   (03.26.08)
12. American Jews Need to Vote For What is Best for USA...
Mr. Know-it-All ,   Frostbite Falls, MN   (03.26.08)
.. or move to Israel if that is where their loyalty truly lies. It is time to take America back from the neocons/zionists whose lies and poor judgment were responsible for getting the US military mired in a war in Iraq that has is destroying our economy and has no end in sight, and to do that we need a President who will act only on what is in the best interests of our own country without regard to what in the interest other countries, including Israel.
13. Laughing at you all
Leon ,   usa   (03.27.08)
I am laughing at you all. You are either oblivious to American Politics and American realities, or just dont care. I am voting for Obama. I am a religious American jew. There are many many many others like me. We all have our reasons, most of it is not emotional. Most of you naysayers would of voted republican no matter what anyhow. So get over it. we are Americans first, and also jewish, and believe Obama is the best candidate. We care deeply for Israel, and have been convinced that the other candidates will be worse, especially another republican. Ask yourself, what good is the US to Israel if the US continues to fall apart, and the rest of the world continues to hate us? How is this going to be good for Israel?
14. Obama=Jew Hater
Jeffrey the Jew ,   Boston, USA   (03.27.08)
Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama has aides and representatives that have expressed their hatred for Jews, Whites, and America. Then he says, oh no, I don't agree with their views. He's a blatant liar and Jew Hater that will sink Israel.
15. Steven#5 "Uncle" Jeremiah opened Pandora's box
Ron W. ,   United States   (03.27.08)
AMBASSADOR EDWARD PECK, like his former boss Jimmy Carter, is a fan of Walt and Mearsheimer. Peck went to Israel in 2006, said nice things about Nasrallah and terrible things about Israel. Peck's travel companions included ROBERT KEELEY (Ambassador to Uganda during Idi Amin) - Israel "wanted to get rid of all the people in Gaza," HASSAN FOUDA (member of Al-Awda) - "ethnic cleansing practiced by Israel over the past 60 years against the rest of the Middle East," PETER VIERING (attorney) -"attempts to purify, or cleanse the land of non-Jews has only been partially successful," and CHRIS BELCHER (DC Indymedia) - made a film on the 2005 election starring Jimmy Carter and an all-star cast of Israel-haters.
16. Obama's Jewish Support
Walt ,   U.S.A.   (03.27.08)
I would say that at least some American Jews seem to care little for Israel. Senator Obama's membership at an antisemitic and conspiratorial church should be rather unsettling to them, but apparently it is not. I hope that the trance fades before the election, but I am not hopefuly.
17. #15
Steven ein ,   USA   (03.27.08)
At last. Somebody gets it. Yes! I'm done whistling in the dark. You get it! Yes, Sir! Steven Ein. PS. Now that Wright has slamed the Italians, maybe they will react. Meyer Lansky may have run the real mafia, but the Bonano family pulled the muscle. We are too timid too react...Italians aren'nt.
18. jewish vote
sas ,   israel   (03.27.08)
dod not believe they are equal. hillary is well preferred.
19. #12 - We'll Vote Democrat as Always
(03.27.08)
We don't ned your help telling us how to vote. We're not responsible for the war in Iraq (the first or the second) since we as a whole didn't back this current administration. You can write "neocon" to your heart's content, but the term doesn't fit the majority of American Jews. Why don't you question the loyalty of the Muslims who overwhelmingly voted for Bush in 2000 and then Kerry in 2004. Do they vote according to their values and to American interests or their own and for the benefit of their brethren overseas?
20. US Elections
Rina ,   Jerusalem   (03.27.08)
We Jews have our own country - Israel - and this is where we should live and vote, period.
21. to 13 "Laughing"
Rose ,   NY   (03.27.08)
Amen. It is about time soneone put these opinions in there place. A very small place. I also Jewish, and while personally I dont see much difference between Hillary and Obama, but I will likely vote for OBama. Most of my Jewish friends will do so also. Most of these talkbackers, if American, are weathered republicans anyhow. Most of the Israeli talkbackers are remarkably uninformed and after reading these comments, it is obvious they do not follow the details of the debate as it is being conducted in America. One mor epoint. The majority of Americna Jews are free thinking, and can make their own choice. It happens to be historically that the majority of them vote Democrat. The fact that many (or 50%, or most, depending on who you belive) are Obama supporters is not suprising and hardly worth the media analysis. DUH!
22. OBAMA gets my vote too
C.C ,   California   (03.27.08)
The republicans need to go. doesnt anyone here realize this last 8 years with the republicans in power have nearly wiped the USA out? On many levels? incluging the world respect level ? Can you imagine that the USA will still not deal with globakl warming? because the republicans need to m ake as much money from thei OIL friends before the whole things go?/ Clinton is alright, and the world could use a woman leader, but Obama is fresh, he is racial mixed ( a good thing in my opnion) he has travelled, he has charisma and speaks eloquently, and he has modern ideas. He represents the future, not the past, like Mccain and clinton even. mcaain pulls his philosophy form VIETNAM that warped era that was another USA diastetorus mistake. .
23. #13, #21
Tahl ,   Israel   (03.29.08)
You may vote as you please. While I see absolutely no sense in voting for Obama, as that would be a disaster for Israel - I don't have any intention of telling you what to do. You're Americans, and just as I would hate Americans telling me who to vote for - I cannot and will not do it to Americans. I still think you're making a mistake, but that's your issue - you have no moral obligation for me. But, I don't have any moral oblicagtion for you either - as I never counted on your help to Israel anyway. I'd actually put my hopes with Christian American friends of Israel instead.
24. Jewish Votes
Pro Israel ,   Los Angeles, CA   (04.18.08)
50% Jewish support for Obama is astounding and disturbing. Nevertheless, if Obama is the nominee how will he do against McCain? I hope McCain will win a far greater percentage of the Jewish vote than George Bush did (but GWB deserved a far higher percentage than he received, so who knows).
