Not spending so much time on killing each other in the name of one religion or the other, we could zero in on what's really worth bickering over: Kids, in-laws, money, "where've you been; why are you looking at her/him; you want me to do what; why'd you turn the heat up, turn the AC down," etc. Our reward for a decent life wouldn't be virgins and/or being bored out of our skulls and driving god crazy singing all those hallelujahs for an eternity. Angels would hand us our very own universal and eternal remote (everlasting batteries included) for every past and future electronic gadget ever devised, with which we could flip to our souls' content from this to that , not to mention through 750 TV channels every 10 minutes, all without getting nagged or verbally assaulted by anyone. Show me a religion that peddles that reward in some hereafter and I'll seriously consider signing up and mending my ways. As for some end of the world scenario, I'm with that 57% in the last paragraph. Considering my age, that "ain't gonna" happen in this old lady's lifetime.

TO know God, the Supreme Lord, is the highest aim of life -- for everyone, for all living entities. A Christian can know God ONLY if he/she prays to Lord Jesus Christ. Why Lord Jesus Christ ? Because Lord Jesus Christ is a VERY merciful person. Otherwise, it is NOT possible for the Christians to know God. IT is impossible. Why impossible ? Because God, the Supreme Lord, is NOT cheap. Similarly for the Jews. A Jew can ONLY know Yahweh, the Supreme Lord, if he/she prays to Moses the Law Giver. Otherwise, it is NOT possible for the Jew to know Yahweh, the Supreme Lord. BTW by knowing God one gradually develops his/her love of Godhead. And this, i.e. love of Godhead, will solve ALL the irritations experienced by you and everyone else ; will solve ALL the problems of you and everyone else ; and ALL the killings in the world will stop.

In light of the fact that God is unknown and unknowable, why should I depend on somebody else's guesses as to why I'm here or base my behavior on their suppositions and conjectures with respect to what God may or may not want from me? God gave me a conscience and a reasonably good brain, the latter of which, I'm sure, He/She expects me to use. Tell me something, though: What are you saying about humanity before Moses and Jesus - oh, and let's not forget Mohammed and a whole bunch of others - came along? If one is to believe ancient stories and as an example, Noah seems to have had a pretty good handle on his relationship with God long before any of those "intermediaries" showed up. Are you saying that one day God decided that henceforth He/She needed PR people to get His/Her point across?? Sorry, but when my time comes, I'd rather answer for how I lived trusting the conscience God gave me than how I behaved listening or not listening to what somebody else peddled. I don't think, "But they told me you'd ship me off to some hell, if I didn't believe what I was told" will let me off the hook or will be a good excuse for much of anything. Buf if you don't trust the inner and outer senses God gave you, by all means, pray to whomever you believe will get you where you want to go. I prefer direct communication. TO bring the living entities of this physical world BACK to the Supreme Father -- the Supreme Father sends His representative (i.e. Moses the Law Giver, Lord Jesus Christ) to call the wandering living entities to go back to the planet of the Supreme Father. ONLY the representative of the Supreme Father is powerful enough to take the living entities back to the planet of the Supreme Father -- and NO one else. BTW it is not that Moses the Law Giver (who disappeared in 1320 B.Chr.) and Lord Jesus Christ (who disappeared in 33 AD) is dead and gone. NO. That is NOT spiritual understanding. Moses the Law Giver and Lord Jesus Christ are STILL available today for EVERYONE. One can approach Moses the Law Giver for guidance BY praying to him. One doesn't need ANY Rabbi for that. HOW come ? Because Moses the Law Giver, being the representative of the Supreme Lord, is VERY VERY powerful. BTW WITHOUT approaching the actual representative of the Supreme Lord -- life's perfection can NOT be attained. And thus, you will NOT have "direct communication", as desired by you, with the Supreme Lord.
