We need laws which prevent an enemy state buying up property in Israel. Once the whabis start spending billions in arab Jaffa. Israel should join other jurisdictions in imposing non-resident tax on properties worth more than $1 million. Absentee foreign owners of real property, particularly those that do not diplomatically recognize Israel, should pay a non-resident tax equal to 50% of the value of the property per year unless the government of said country negotiates a tax treaty with Israel. If the tax is not paid, the property reverts to the state.
