The roadside carnage in israel is legendary... and the staggering loss is precisely because of the huge number of crazy drivers on the roads who should never have been allowed to operate the vehicles in the first place.
this business of car repairs in the west bank is pure fluff and more of the stupidities looked into by the olmertians.

On its face, this law is directed at care thieves, who are not concerned about being imprisoned for car theft, but presumably will be deterred by the risk of imprisonment for ... repairing their stolen cars in the West Bank!
In fact, this is a form of economic apartheid, a state-sanctioned message to Jews to boycott Arab businesses, similar to the anti-Jewish boycott commenced on April 1, 1933 that was a precursor to all the racist persecution that followed.
Does no one speak out for treating human beings equally? ! Have the Jews in Israel learned nothing from history?!
