It sounds more like they are going to collect the kits from the people that still have them not give them back and give them back at government discresion. The people who allready gave back their kits were told that the reason was they were to be upgraded and then given back are we now being told that the plan was never to upgrade & return the kits allready handed in? If that is the case how do we know if & when those of us who have still got our kits will have them returned. When Barak got the defense job he said he wouldnt return the kits because he was worried it may give Syria the mistekn idea that Israel wanted to start a war. I wont believe a word of it untill the things have been referbished and are back in the hands of their owners. They dont even know themselves what its going to cost & if the price is to high they will take the kits & refurbish them when they feel the situation justifies the cost not because they have just promised it.

I don't care how you give us our gas masks back just do it now while we are still not under rocket fire from Hezbollah, because it will be alot harder to distribute them when the homefront is under fire! You took them away over a year ago, and promised their reutn shortly after that, instead you left the public with nothing,even our shelters are not ready for long term use... the gov. needs to get its act together,the National wide Emergency drill is a good first step, the next step should be to prepare the shelters and return the gas masks to the North first, then the center then the south of the country, but return them now not later! Publish information in all languages spoken here, including Hebrew, Russian, English, Spanish, Aramaic, Arabic as to where we can get our new masks and believe me the citizens will be more than happy to drive to a central location in their towns to pick them up!
