I am an Orthodox woman who lives in Israel. I have mixed feelings about Evangelists because while they do support us, they may have ulterior motives. Also, I do not like Reform Judaism as it is so watered down that there is almost nothing left of Judaism in it. Because of intermarriage and quickie "conversions", in another generation or so, if the movement is still around, a large percent of its' members will not even be Jews halachically. As for Rabbi Yoffee,can't he see that even though we have already given up plenty of land, we still do not have peace? The Arabs just see it as a sign of weakness, and want more and more land, until we will have no place left to live. They are also even closer to us physically in order to send over more missiles. Sderot is a good example and soon it will be Ashkelon, Ashdod, and then the rest of the country. Why doesn't Rabbi Yoffee understand this?

Hagee is a Friend of Israel and the Jewish people and quite frankly we need all the friends we can get.

Eric Yoffie has turned the tables: He blames Christians for being extremists but actually he is in a campaign to appease the Muslims in the US. He participated in many conferences with Muslims and advocated coexistence as if this is possible in Israel, as if Israel is USA, as if you can or should appease Hamas. Yoffie is totally misguided. It is better to have Christian Evangelist as friends of Israel than no friends at all. Israel does not need guidance from Yoffie who advocates self serving philosophies that do not apply to Israel.

We only respect Reform Judaism and this Rabbi in particular, if we are moderate,decent , tolerant people who wish to live in peace and prosperity. Fundamentalist bigots will not respect the Reform movement.

Sometimes we are our worst enemies. Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, and Secular Jews should encourage our allies on Israel. Arabs already have an Arab Palestinian state on 80% of the land. We Jews settled for only about 20%. Its time to move on. There already are 2 states. Cancel Palestine. Create Peace!

After finishing TORAH studies a teenage boy was welcomed as a full member of Congregation B'Nai David in Visalia, California. In his required speech to the other members, he eloquently defended the rights of homosexuals even though the TORAH forbids homosexuality. That was so shocking, I left the congregation prefering the company of more TORAH minded people. Congregation B'nai David was a SOCIAL CLUB that failed totally in instructing the young on the most basic precepts of morality. From reading about child abuse in the Orthodox Jewish community, I wonder what TORAH they study from. Maybe the same one as at B'nai David

I don't subscribe to any religion. I'm simply a very patriotic, slightly hawkish American. This is the way I see it: You fought for and created a State. You defended it against an assortment of a--hats several times. You beat the living daylights out of them and kicked them out of a few places you wanted or needed. Why are some of you now almost apologizing for their ineptness and even think of giving back what you won fair and square? I would tell the whole world, and that includes the US, to either practice autoeroticism or to come and get it, if they want it back. And if those, whom you graciously allowed to keep their homes and farms, start any BS, then kick them out. To the winner go the spoils. All this back and forth, what the bible says and doesn't say, Hamas or Fatah, whether or not this type of Christian does or doesn't support you is beside the point. You know what'll happen, if you give back the Golan and you know what'll happen, if you give back parts of Jerusalem. Do you really want to do that to prove the point that it'll be a disaster, and how long will it take before you'll have to clean out the same rats' nests again? There are 900 Reform temples all over the world. In order for them to have 1 million members, each temple would have to have 1000 members, but this is only the membership of a very few mega-temples such as Temple Emanuel. Most temples have a membership of 400 people (this is according to a listserve of Reform rabbis) and there are many small congregations that have far fewer. So assuming 400 members as an average per temple, we have a Reform population of 320,000. Since about 90% of temple members never attend services except on High Holidays or when they have a Bar Mitzvah, that leaves 32,000. Of these, at least half are not even Jewish, which leaves 16,000 members. Their membership in Israel is only a pathetic few hundred. And, they have a sub-replacement birth rate.
