Arresting Tibi which won't happen will ony strenghten his position, but if already lets arrest Marzel Gvir etc who only incite, Orlev would do better to take care of Jewsih education,as a Ministrer rather then sitting in the oposition, for no real reason,and passing self satisfying laws that regretfully solve no problems

Visits by Tibi and his ilk are a poke in the eye of the state, a defiance against Israeli law. "I'm an Arab, and can do what I want" is what they're saying. The fact that he will face nothing more than a perfunctory police interview when he returns will only encourage future actions of this sort. That Tibi will get a pass on this violation of law, whereas defenders of Israel like Doron and Halamish are tried and sentenced to prison shows that political expediency is today's guiding principle. It's time to reestablish the rule of law.

Tibi is just doing what I would be doing in his place. With a selfloathing suicidal government in place , that has no desire to hold on to the land and Jerusalem , this is a logical outcome. It's true many Israeli-Arabs are going through Islamization ( among the muslims ones) and start defining themselves as Palestinians, but this does not include the whole community. Moreover, Israeli-Arabs have different values and lifestyle than palies in the west bank, we are brought up and educated differently... It never cease to amaze me how member of my nation embrace violence. We present to the world jewels like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan The great stone age "democracies" of Saudi and Iran and let's not forget Sudan that provide on going humanitarian mercy mission in Darfur.
