Elokim ,   Israel   (04.06.08)
These stupid boys should have known NOTHING like this would come for free!! Come on "another man who was to entrust them with a suitcase containing ancient artifacts". It's called smuggling right then and there!! I'm sure it not the first time an "'unprecedented amount' of narcotics" was termed this way!! They are getting what they deserve! Japan should prosecute as they see fit....Israel would do the same if it was a Japanese citizen SMUGGLING an "'unprecedented amount' of narcotics"!!!!!

"Did anyone ask you to take anything with you?" These kids are either blatant liars or terminally stupid. In either event, let Japan keep them for a while, as a warning to others. The only reason they're not up for this years Darwin Awards (look it up) is that their stupidity didn't get them killed.

If they didn't know they are really stupid. It could have been a bomb planted by terrorist. Thank G-d they are alive, but should spend few years in jail to ponder over their stupidity and learn something.

7. In Indonesia they hang them

Lucky they are not in Indonesia where they hang them.
8. Dumb-dee-dumb-dumb...
shira z ,   J'slm. Israel   (04.07.08)
Seriously... fly to AMSTERDAM and bring a suitcase to Japan (or anywhere...) Sure, it's believable that someone funded their trip for this 'service' but, unless they're Super Stupid they had to have some sort of a clue...

isn't this where the authorities control everything and entrap some dumb schmuck? If that's the case, there was no smuggling involved, just trolling for stupid people. These kids qualify for that, alright., but not for smuggling. The alleged narcotics were planted *by the authorities*, and not the property of any "free agents". I still think they should serve time for being so stupid, think of it as forced education, but it should not be in Japanese jail nor for drug smuggling. Let them plead to some lesser infraction of international law and server their time in an Israeli jail.
