1. Mishandled from the beginning.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (04.07.08)
There should have been no ceasefire without a return of the hostages. Now, we have essentially lost all leverage & cannot give in to unreasonable demands. We have a gov't. of incompetant bunglers - there's nothing else to say.
2. Whatever deal you make - DON'T release Samir Kuntar!
Tahl ,   Israel   (04.07.08)
Nearly 30 years ago, this Lebanese terrorist infiltrated to Israel, and murdered in cold blood, an Israeli family. He never expressed any regret. He has become the symbol of Hizbollah's extortions on Israel, with Nasarallah vowing to release him by all means necessary. Releasing such a bloody murderer does not hold up under ANY moral consideration. It would only serve to humiliate Israel even more, and prove that no matter how heinous a terrorist's crime can be - all it takes is to kidnap an Israeli, and his release is guarenteed. Thus even if we get our kidnapped soldiers back (and most likely dead) - it would doom other Israelis in the future. It is simply not worth it. Do not release terrorists with blood on their hands!
3. May Passover be the Holiday of Freedom for the Sons

10 day away from Pessach - the Holiday of Freedom - and may the three be with us for the Sedder Eve. Compromises must be considers in order to give the families a true hope.
4. What do you expect?
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (04.07.08)
Sadly I think that Olmert put Israel in a weak spot and now we look as we willing dealing with Hizbollah from weak standpoint!
