who'll be able to lead the Jews back to build their destroyed homes again.
2. Get them out of there!!!
Enemy of State ,   Judea   (04.09.08)
Why the hell are we wasting IDF lives protecting those damn settlers??!!!! If those fanatics in Sderot want to put their kids in danger, that's their business. But why waste Israeli tax shekels and lives to protect them?
3. Land for Peace
Andrew Friedman ,   Efrat   (04.09.08)
I think this is a terrible story. We should get the settlers out of Gush Katif. Then there will be peace, and no more IDF soldiers will die in Gaza.
4. My condolences to the family of Sayef Bisan
Aharon   (04.09.08)
I truly am sorry. I lost friends in 1973, I can only imagine what its like to lose a family member. My condolences.
5. #2 and false comparisons
Chaim   (04.09.08)
Because Sderot is inside the green line and is internationally recognized Israel sovereign territory, unlike the illegal settlements which you keep trying to defend.
6. #5 You can move the green line back a little
(04.09.08)

oskar Prager ,   Petach Tikva   (04.09.08)
To #2 . Where on earth are you living ? Have you never heard that Sderot is within legal Israel and is NOT a settlement ? If you are so dumb that you didn't know that, then don't write such stupid comments.

10. #2 Sderot was safe before the Gaza expulsion.
Miriam ,   Israel   (04.09.08)
If Sderot will become Jews-free, Ashkelon and Ashdod will be next and Tel-Aviv might not be too far off...
11. What a Racism ?
Durzi ,   Ain Shams   (04.09.08)
I read this sad news but i noticed the advertisement on the same page saying (34% of israeli youth arabs !!!) one arab died for the state, does this mean any thing fir those who advertise this statment
12. To #2 and #3
Zion   (04.09.08)
Sderot is inside pre-1967 borders, Gush Katif was evacuated in 2005 and the Arabs instead of using it have destroyed it. Hamas, Fatah and the rest of Arab terrorists call all of Israel a settlement, so you are now a "leftarded settler" according to their thinking. You better leave Israel quickly because neither the Jews for a strong Jewish state and the Arabs for a terror-state want you there.
13. # 2 sarcastic...right?
izzy d   (04.09.08)
enemy of state living in judea calling sderot residents fanatic settlers....thats a joke. i hope.

18. Deepest condolences to Sayef's family.
Talula ,   Israel   (04.09.08)
You raised an angel that loved his country and for that you must be proud. Thinking of you all with a very very sad heart.
19. The Druze of Israel
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (04.09.08)
Have repeatedly proven their devotion to the State and have earned our respect and trust. It is the Arabs of the ilk that vote for the likes of tibi that must be sent 'home' to the palilands of Jordan
20. FROM AIR, WHERE HIS COLLEAGUE GO?? RUN??
JAMIL   (04.09.08)
(In response, the IDF fired at the Palestinians from the air, hitting two gunmen. Palestinians reported that a Hamas gunman was killed and four were injured)
21. PARTIAL RESPONSES MUST STOP
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (04.09.08)
As long as olmert livni barak and their ilk are around, Israelis will be killed by terrorists with minimal fear of response. We need leaders that finally accept we are at war and treat the enemy accordingly! NO other State in the world would tolerate this terrorism. Why do we?
22. may his memory be blessed
(04.09.08)
may his wonderful family know no further sorrow. may the young brave man rest in peace with god watching and protecting him. how very very very sad and what a loss to israel this young man is. may his bravery and unconditional love for israel stand as a wonderful memory on his part. condolences to the family. you lost a hero, a man of moral principles and convictions.
23. Condolences for a mercenary
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (04.09.08)
I am truly sorry for the death of the soldier as I am for the death of both Palestinians and Israelis. However, I must ask the question "What was he fighting for?" The Druze are not allowed to live in any Israeli settlement or neighborhood they choose, they don't have equal access to educational institutions, and , excepting the army, their employment opportunities are extremely limited in a country which considers the Jews to be 'ubermenschen' and all others to be inferior. If his only real job opportunity and chance for advancement was in the Israeli army, then he really was a mercenary fighting for a paycheck.
24. Oh, now isn't that cute!
Zeal ,   Zionist America   (04.09.08)
Strange how tragedy ends the usual blood lust of the people who post here. But it also blinds them to the core; one down, a couple thousand to go!
25. #23, #24
Jeff ,   new york   (04.09.08)
First I wish to express sympathy to the family of Sayef Bisan. His memory should be a blessing to all who knew him. Mikesailor and Zeal, your rants are inappropriate but expected. Sometimes a country is better off for its enemies. Israel will prosper after you are only a dim unpleasant memory
26. Oh you would know unpleasant, Jeff #25
Zeal ,   Zionist America   (04.09.08)
After your precious soldiers kill someone the usual response is, "Good job IDF!" It is this blood lust that turns upside down when tragedy strikes that you deem unpleasant in my post, correct?
