I think this is a terrible story. We should get the settlers out of Gush Katif. Then there will be peace, and no more IDF soldiers will die in Gaza.

I truly am sorry. I lost friends in 1973, I can only imagine what its like to lose a family member. My condolences.

Because Sderot is inside the green line and is internationally recognized Israel sovereign territory, unlike the illegal settlements which you keep trying to defend.

I read this sad news but i noticed the advertisement on the same page saying (34% of israeli youth arabs !!!) one arab died for the state, does this mean any thing fir those who advertise this statment

Sderot is inside pre-1967 borders, Gush Katif was evacuated in 2005 and the Arabs instead of using it have destroyed it. Hamas, Fatah and the rest of Arab terrorists call all of Israel a settlement, so you are now a "leftarded settler" according to their thinking. You better leave Israel quickly because neither the Jews for a strong Jewish state and the Arabs for a terror-state want you there.

I am truly sorry for the death of the soldier as I am for the death of both Palestinians and Israelis. However, I must ask the question "What was he fighting for?" The Druze are not allowed to live in any Israeli settlement or neighborhood they choose, they don't have equal access to educational institutions, and , excepting the army, their employment opportunities are extremely limited in a country which considers the Jews to be 'ubermenschen' and all others to be inferior. If his only real job opportunity and chance for advancement was in the Israeli army, then he really was a mercenary fighting for a paycheck.

After your precious soldiers kill someone the usual response is, "Good job IDF!" It is this blood lust that turns upside down when tragedy strikes that you deem unpleasant in my post, correct?
