Israelis are not so stupid that they could not foresee such a response to its collective punishment of millions of civilians living under Israel's ongoing siege and occupation of Gaza. The longer Israel continues to apply collective punishment to millions of innocent people the more desperate they will become and the more violent the response to Israeli crimes will be. In addition, Israel's failure to meet any of its obligations under the road map has clearly weakened Abbas and Fatah who have accomplished nothing, while it has strengthened Hamas who at least makes sure the many crimes against Palestinians perpetrated by Israel do not go unpunished.

I don't expect anything from the UN. I never heard anything else than condemnations of Israel... My only expectation concerns MY GOVERNMENT to act for HIS citizen. Olmert and co. are responsible when they removed some checkpoints last week, while the situation needs to close hermetically the border. It's really unbelievable to feed the enemy who best wishes are to kill us. They can turn to their egyptian brothers for electricity and fuel. For us, it MUST BE security at first. Hamas will face to its responsibility when we will stop beeing more human than them for their own population. It must be their problem and not ours.

When Israel 'withdrew' from Gaza the israeli government destroyed all the houses left in the illegal settlements despite assurances to the contrary. These houses could have been used productively but israel cynically bulldosed them. Israel controlled Gaza'a air space and refused Gaza the right to have its own airport and thus facilitate the import and export economy. Israel controlled Gaza'a coast. Israel controlled Gaza'a borders and built a series of army checkpoints, walls, ditches, fences etc to prevent the free movement of Gazans. Israel controlled the entry and exit of everything. So what was that about israel 'withdrawing?'

I can explain it. It's called a "last days" feeding frenzy to try and wipe all Jews from the earth. Nothing Israel does will bring a favorable opinion of them to the world.
