1. it always works for Hamas
Marcel ,   Florida   (04.10.08)
Whatever lie the Palestinians push in thier war against Israel ,Israel capitulates to under pressure. Israel has no backbone and always folds under pressure. The enemy knows this and that their stratdegy of lies always works against Israel's weak and cowardly leaders who stand for nothing and always bend and so we see more and more of the same.
2. 60% poverty, no fule, no food. oh yes I belive you peres
JW ,   DC   (04.11.08)
what a joke
3. Make the world more aware
Angela ,   The Haque, Holland   (04.11.08)
that the gas and electricity to Gaza are paid by israel . Most people just don,t know about that. Make people aware of this and they will understand it more that Israel lock the gas and electricity when there safety is in danger.
4. Hamas is inable to 'create' anything at all
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.11.08)
5. #2 JW of DC - you call this poverty???
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (04.11.08)
It has been widely documented that Gazans spent 100s of US$ millions during the 2-week Egyptian border breach. AT the same time, when Gaza was ALLEGEDLY facing electricity or fuel shortages, the so-called impoverised refugees bought "ESSENTIALS" that include TV sets, motorbikes, air conditioners, mobile phones, cigarettes, mattresses, etc. A recent report to the UK Parliament REVEALS that the PA received up to US$20 BILLION aid since 1993. On average, EACH pali got up to US$8,000 PER YEAR. COMPARE this to the REAL humanitarian crisis in Darfur where EACH refugee gets US$100 ANNUALLY. The REAL joke, JW, is how many GULLIBLE people continue to BELIEVE in the PHONEY crisis.
6. Screw them!!!
Natan   (04.11.08)
Treatment in Israel?? Are you kidding me???They want to kill us and at the same time want our doctors to treat them???Yea..sure,, Try Egypt, after all they are your brothers
7. Hamas, who cares
Nick ,   London   (04.11.08)
Hamas wants Israel destoyed but one day Hamas wil be no more and anyone who supports them will go the same way so don't worry about what they do now, their efforts are futile, long live Israel
8. #2: They manage to smuggle weapons and warriors
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (04.11.08)
back and forth between other Arab countries - why not food, fuel, and medicine?
9. It's like they torpedo themselves
Jennifer K. ,   Indiana   (04.11.08)
Read this blog post: http://realisrael.wordpress.com/2008/04/10/are-palestinians-against-receiving-aid-theyre-shooting-themselves-in-the-foot. The blog talks about humanitarian aid as well as other great things about Israel. I urge you to spread the word - that single blogger does a better job than the entire Israeli Hasbara department.
10. FALSE
JAMEEL ,   BRAIJ CAMP GAZA   (04.11.08)

11. #2 the joke is on you
izzy d   (04.11.08)
If you would place a group of people in the situation they are in the difference being that they WANTED to solve their issues as efficiently as possible, the so called "conflict" would never have reached the intifada. And Israel is not to blame for it. The "occupation" as they claim it has exited for these past two years..only came into being as a result of their actions. and tho the situation as it existed pre-intifada day was indeed an occupation of non citizens, and yes there are sob stories occasionally -on both sides of the fence - and yes, there should be an ultimate goal of disengaging from Palestine (which i am guessing they will call they're established state) but the process MUST MUST!!! be a correct one. not a road paved by the bloodshed of an uprising and the inevitable reaction by a more powerful army. if you argue for the right of the Palestinian "freedom fighter" you must also support the cause of the Israeli army, which is to protect Israel. Why? because by those values throu which you arrive at the first conclusion, you must also arrive at the second one. otherwise you have
12. #3 EU paid the bill, for allowing delivery ONLY?
(04.11.08)
13. They create their own conditions...
william ,   USA   (04.11.08)
What do you expect from a backward society that multiplies like rats... no family planning, first of all... they believe the world owes them a a living and blame Israel for their miserable problems... Look at Egypt,, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon's muslim populations that have gone out of control... They are just a "quantity" of people not "quality" like Israelis and the Christians of the region...
14. "Nothing against Palestinians"
I,Kemp ,   Nahariya   (04.11.08)
In Gaza I have everything against Palestinian civilians as 80% of them voted Hamas in. Our politicians are so weak and utterly pathetic.
15. The real solution - Well-being instead politics.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (04.11.08)
Instead of counting the daily dead and injured Arab as a result of the terrorist war they declared on Israel, it would be wiser for the Arabs to abandon politics and terrorism, and search for a better future for themselves and their children, to choose well-being instead of politics and understand that a “Palestinian state” is not the solution to their misery. Huge amount have already been paid by the international community in order to help these people but the only beneficiary were the Arab politiciens. Even if there will be a “Palestinian state” the conditions of the population will not improve. The solution to their misery is elsewere : they should think about emigrating, discretely, to other Arab countries before it is too late, (most of these countries are not very populated and can easily integrate them). That is the real solution as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi5c8
16. Unlike Sderot, that desolate wasteland of destruction
Chanalau, Tova ,   London, UK   (04.11.08)
Once again the IDF speaks the truth: Gaza is an unscathed luxurious metropolis something between LA and Hendon, the Paris of the eastern Mediterranian, with the smartest shops and boutiques, airports, skyscraper offices and appartments, cinemas and theatres. Compare this with the Ypres-like desolation of poor, ravaged and raped Sderot, pounded day and night by the PDF with its scores of F16s, Apaches and tanks.
17. Why doesnt LIvni tell the world this?
Jay3 ,   Israel   (04.11.08)
Because she is totally inept like OLmert ! Israels PR is abysmal, and Livni, as our foreign minister, is mainly to blame. During the last Lebenon war, i only saw her twice on tv defending Israels actions.....what an incompetent moron.
18. Gaza
Israeli ,   Israel   (04.11.08)
The Gazan people can't expect us to keep helping them while they are killing us.
19. Of course They're Lying
Thomas   (04.11.08)
Should we forget the poor Gazans just went on a shopping spree in Egypt a few weeks ago. The created such a demand, the Egyptian shopowners increased all the prices and they still sold out of goods. And I haven't seen a report claiming the Gazans were just shopping for essentials either.
20. The pals ARE phony!
John ,   Amsterdam, Holland   (04.11.08)
21. PALESTINIANS BELONG IN CAMPS OR JAILS.
petra ,   USA   (04.11.08)
SOCIAL PSYCHOPATHS.. NO WONDER THEY'RE THE WORLDS MOST HATED PEOPLE.
22. Sympathetic Understanding
Joe Jolten   (04.11.08)
From the comfort of an army base, it is immoral to make such statements. The Palestinian people suffer. On the top of the suffering, there is the confusion. Let us completely sympathize with the ordinary people, and help as much as we can.
23. No Comfort for Col. Press
Note 4 - 22   (04.11.08)
Mr Joe Jolten, The so called "comfort" of the military base Col. Press commands his forces is positioned at the Erez Crossing. This Crossing (like Nahal Oz) has itself been targeted by rocket fire hundreds of times since last June both by rockets and infiltration missions. All this takes place while Col. Press and his men & woman facilitate Palestinian medical requirements and movements to Israel. Also, Col. Press makes sure that all international aid being shipped in to the Gaza Strip makes its way through other tarheted crossings. It seems that in this report he Press is conveying his frustration from those Palestinian individuals whom target him on the border and endanger his people and innocent palestinians aswel.
