My family runs a website for stock photography and we can see what countries people come from and what photos they look at. The biggest perverts are from Iran and Saudi Arabia. We dont allow nude photos on our site, but these pervs look at any photos of women in bikinis or playing sports. They top any other country in the world, so the news doesnt surprise me. I'm glad you had fun in Iran, and I guarantee you nothing has changed. The truth is the party goers in Iran are having just as much fun as the 70's - provided they know whose palms to grease. As for the "temporary marriage" thing, I am surprised why some Westerners, and even the so-called "modern" Muslims don't seem to understand that it addresses the issue of sex between consenting adults AND protecting the right of any children born as the result of the sex. By instituting the concept of temporary marriage between two consenting adult during the time that effective birth control did did not exist, the child of such couple would be considered legitimate and would be entitled to the same inheritance as the couple's other children. This way Islam effectively prevented children to be labeled "bastards" and therefore discriminated against. Now, do you have any problems with that. Your other comment about "marrying" someone's niece was just plain bull shit and you know it. Now can you tell me where is the hypocrisy in this?
